I love all the books by this author and have read them all. This one was slightly different from her usual writings, but still a compelling read. I liked the storyline in this one because even when you find out who is the bad guy, you still can't see how the good guys are going to work it out in time. The bad guy isn't unexpected, but the lengths they go to are. As always a well written and thought out story from an imaginative author.

First, let me say I'm very sorry I didn't see this comment until now. This was well before any updates, so I must have missed the notification. All very good questions and I'll answer as best I can. 1) Harry 'eating' would be a euphemism for drinking some blood. I will try and make that clearer when I re-edit at some point. 2) Eddy wouldn't be able to heal himself. If you've read the other Unison Island stories where all the characters are introduced you'll see you never see a witch use magic on themselves. Also, Eddy is a teacher, his magic would be geared toward that job. He wouldn't be able to use anything else but the most basic spells for healing/fixing things. Thane only has the basic magic geared toward his job as a bodyguard/spy. His abilities include lock picking and bringing items to him from long distances - eg, if he has a box of tissues in a drawer at home he can summon them to him anywhere. Lastly, Thane's blood wouldn't work, he isn't a strong enough vampire and he isn't mated to Eddy yet. The same goes for Harry, he isn't old enough to be strong enough. I will, of course,, make there clearer when/if I re-edit/expand this story. There is a plan to but things keep making me put it off. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment

As I've said before the balancing act is hard and when I wrote this I was still very new. I'm still learning new ways to write things even now, and I'm sure I'll learn even more in the future.

Trying to balance the story, the word count, and the advancement of their relationship is hard, but I hope you enjoy the rest of the story.

Thanks, Emi. No no characters in this are sons/daughters of the other characters. They are all still babies in this one. This follows directly on from the last book timewise.

But, she needs a sibling to keep her company...don't you think?? Thanks, Emi, your comments have made me see the story anew and its been wonderful rereading it with you I'm so glad you enjoyed it. This was the first story I started here and it was a long process, but well worth it. I may have some more ideas, but s to you all for your wonderful comments
