  1. Loved the entire story. These last couple of chapters brought tears to my old eyes. Thanks.

    Chapter 39

Mark Great chapter. Thank you. I wasn't sure where this was going with the Mary Ellen event, but I like where you're taking it. I'm reminded of another 3-way marriage that produced several children (Ace, Billy, and Claire). Isidore, JP/Jeff/Sam/Roger/Stef. Did I leave anyone out? Besides Andre and Frank? It worked out pretty good over the decades. But ME is no Isidore, and while Isidore was a little rough around the edges, she wasn't a scheming, calculating, evil spawn of Satan, like Mary Ellen is. Love the story and thanks for all you do. Michael

    Chapter 37

Mark, Wow, what a chapter. All the Will-haters, are going to hate him regardless of what he does or says. I believe Dauris made that appearance knowing that he'd get a reaction from his "little" brother. I remember, I think that it was Robbie who said, "there's 2 people you don't poke, Brad and Will" (or something like that). Dauris knew what he was doing. My heart breaks for JJ. He's a diva, a bitch, moody, and very talented, but I love his character. He's been in some serious shit, straight out of the birth canal. Premature, over-shadowed by his brothers', molested, suicide from Shane. I like the way he ended with him remembering how he previously cut himself. Hopefully, that will stop him from hurting himself and give him some strength going forward. On the other hand............ I think a great way that Chapter 38 should start is with "The part of Mary Ellen is now being played by Janet Leigh. The part of JJ is now being played by Anthony Hopkins"...... Then cut to the shower............ Thanks for all you do. Cheers Michael

    Chapter 35

Mark WOW What a great chapter. I have to say I like what you're doing with Zach, and with the Zach and Will story. This is the fourth generation of the two families and it's time for the curse of the Hayes family to be broken. Make Zach be the one to break it and come through all this without a bus-load of baggage. (ie. Aaron, Jeff, and Robbie). Flaws are good, demon hauntings are bad. :-) Thank you so much for all you do and Happy New Year. Michael

    Chapter 29

Mark, I enjoyed this chapter a lot. I'm doing better at liking Wade, and the past few chapters he's been in I've enjoyed him. I like the fact that Wade & Alex are communicating, and seem to have reached a mutual understanding. I loved his interaction with Hammer. You've written that Hammer guy as the perfect idiot / asshole / etc. Coming to Wade's house, asking for help and still "hammering" him with the "I'll steal your boyfriend" line... What a dummy. I loved it & the fact that Wade went through with it. I'm starting to warm up to the new man in Brad's life. No one is going to pull the wool over Brad's eye's so it's no worry about Marc taking advantage of jim. So he likes older, wealthy men that can give him some of the better things in life, well, I do too! My partner is 12 years older than me and we've been together 33 years. He wasn't wealthy, but successful and we've had a nice life together, but now it's more equal than it started with. He helped me become successful. Also, Brad does have an art studio at Escorial. hmmm. Brad deserves a loyal, handsome, charming, talented, loving man in his life. I loved Robbie's character with all his beautiful flaws, but Marc could be a nice change for Brad. As long as Marc can push Brads boundaries like Robbie did. Wonder what Marc will think of the "kinky sex room"?!? But where's the excitement? I keep waiting for a kidnapping, hostage situation, threats in business and at home, or something like that. Also, I miss Zack, with his flaws pushing Wills boundaries. Thanks for all you do!! Cheers & Merry Christmas! Michael

    Chapter 27

Hi Mark, Great chapter!! I just love Brad. He's such a strong and powerful character, with a fragile ego (?!?) Ok, so lets do the math. We'll title this the "Theory of Brad's Harem", or something like that. 1. Marc Carmine - starving and struggling artist - on the rebound - intense chemistry 2. Cam Heely - starving and struggling student - trust issues - intense chemistry 3. Sean Massey - successful attorney - confidence? - mid-level chemistry 4. Ben the Carpenter - blue-collar talented - total bottom - bad kisser 5. Chris Mendoza - wolf wolf - total top - employee, not relationship oriented 6. Drew - the club boi toy - easy slut - playtime - not relationship oriented. Did I miss anyone? My top three are: Just meeting Marc, he does seem too good to be true. Too much in common with the 9/11 tragedy? Is he a plant from the wicked step-mother, but maybe the real deal?....... geographical difficulty but not out of the question. On the other hand Cam Heely well known to the CAP world - too young? - But I like him.... geographical difficulty. would mean an extra stop on the way to CT Sean Massey is successful in his own right. Has been around for several CAP stories. geographic winner. is the chemistry right? Ben's off the list unless he learns to kiss. Chris & Drew, just sex. So I'd say that Brad is doing pretty darn good. Great story, as usual......Michael

    Chapter 21

Mark, Great chapter. I'm glad to see Zach take a stand. Hopefully you'll let him be the first in a line of "Hayes" boys that have been in the main storyline to break the self-destruct cycle. This is the 4th generation, give 'em a break. Of course these are only my opinions, which like they say..... Aaron had Steven & couldn't come to grips with him being gay until it was too late and made dreadful choices. Which has resonated down through the generations. Making him the first with the curse? Maybe? You had Jeff (whom was my favorite for a long time), who was talented, smart, with that big heart, never felt he could live up to JP. He fight with addiction was so compelling and so true to those of us who've fought the demons of addiction. His self-destruction and him fizzling out way too soon & die a dreadful death was tragic. Robbie, with deep seeded scar's, could never get past those feelings of low self-esteem. Although, you did show him getting better, he always seemed to trip himself up. I don't think his character ever felt equal to Brad. I liked the Robbie character a lot, but always let his past haunt him. I love Matt, but don't really put him into the "Hayes" boys category, and the Gathan storyline seemed to fizzle out. Frank, the teddy bear and Wally, the asshole, don't count, neither have had main story lines. So back to our 4th generation of Schulter/Hayes. Zach has demons, but you've given him something extra, which Jeff or Robbie never showed, that is confidence. And to learn from those demons in order to strengthen and move forward. Sure he's cocky, but he's talented, smart and good looking, and he views events in his life logically. I like Zack and his my shit don't stink attitude. Him and Will seem to be on a more equal footing than the others as well. Also, I'm a Will-lover, and miss his POV. Again, I loved the chapter as usual.....Michael

    Chapter 18

In the wake of Wades performance as a bitchy diva in Chapter 18, it's a good thing Matt loves him. Now that was a roller coaster ride that he's always accusing Matt of. Wade was pissed, wouldn't discuss anything, and was "taking his toys and going homed"!! He acted like a spoiled snobby brat,,,,, like JJ. I really like and enjoy the Matt/Wade story lines and the chemistry you've given both characters. But I can smell trouble. How can they rebuild a strong partnership with a weak foundation. Wade own's everything and he let's Matt know that, and when he's not voicing that, he's thinking it. And what happened to the vow/pledge he and Matt made to each other in Flux, forgiving each other, Matt for diving off the deep end and Wade for dropping Matt for Alex. Broken? Matt's growing up, and he's a catch!! Wade better get with the program. As always, I love your stories. Michael

    Chapter 10

Hi Mark Thanks for the latest chapter of Streak, enjoyable as aways. I still see Alex as a suave Eruo-gigilo. Now he's latched onto JJ, who on the surface is pure, and certainly self-absorbed, but I was thinking about still waters running deep. JJ has been a late bloomer, but the bloodlines in him certainly are not the making of the Madonna figure. He's got both the Schluter and Crampton blood flowing through his veins, and that combination is not even close to being pure. I didn't get any experience until I was 17, and after it happened, BAM, I was a land whore just like Stef. This was in the late 70's, a lot of sex, drugs & disco balls!! If Alex is trying to deceive, hurt or manipulate JJ, either emotionally, financially, or physically, that could certainly bring the wrath of Brad & JP to him. Someone should sit him down and give him 3 names, Brian, Carson, and Deke. Thanks & cheers to you, Michael

    Chapter 7

Mark Thanks for another chapter of Streak. But I keep waiting for the poopoo to hit the fan...!?! I enjoyed everything about Will in this chapter, he's playful, thoughtful, and showing a lot of maturity. He's able to see through both Chris and Cody and throw both players off their game. But his dealing with Cody was especially mature, he knew that Cody was nervous and why and telling him he had his back, then following through was a class act. I'm interested in reading Zach's POV. Everyone is giving Will a hard time about messing around, but even though Zach may be jealous, Will is not breaking the bonds of their oath/promise to each other. Will is 16, good looking, rich, independent, and needs to have some fun. I think they're too young for a life-time commitment. Brad and Robbie met when they were 17 and had nothing but roller coaster rides throughout most of their relationship. Will needs to be a player for a while and not fall in love just yet. Have fun, be a teenager, get that stuff out of his system. He'll make a GREAT husband when he gets older. And now to my opinion about that diva named Wade, FINALLY, he's admitted he's less than perfect, giving Matt some long deserved credit for everything he's done for Wade. I hope that he's letting Matt know how he feels about this. The exchange with him & jP reminded me of Brads explanation of a "couple" to Robbie in Chapter 4 of Man in Motion. A symbiotic relationship, not one way. (BTW that whole chapter was one of the greatest pieces of writing I've ever read). As far as Alex goes, to me, he's a piece of that poopoo. He's a gold digger. His family has an aristocratic title, but no money. He has no honor, and no conscience. BUT all that being said, lets see his POV, with all that heartlessness, dirty planning and greed. heeheehee Thanks for all you do to entertain us with your outstanding writing! Cheers, Michael

    Chapter 4

Mark, Great addition to the story. Everyone (reviews) seems to be on the "I Love Wade" bandwagon, and while I'm glad he and Matt are working on their relationship, to me, it still seems like he has a stick up his ass (and not in a good way :-) I love all your stories and can't wait for the juicy and exciting stuff that this one will bring up. My emotions run the gambit when reading, from feeling like my heart will fall out from sadness, rejection, or cheating, then on to laughing at some of the conversations and actions of Will or Steph. Thank you for keeping us entertained. Michael
  12. Mark thank you so much for this ending chapter to Flux. I've bitched about Wade ad nausium but you've brought this together masterfully. I'm so happy for this ending. Apologies for bitching. Thanks. Michael

    Story

Great story. Love everlasting. I met my partner, lover, soul mate when I was 22, this past May we celebrated 33 years together. Lots of ups and downs, and we're still in love and best friends and I can't imagine life without him. Michael
  14. I haven't been a Wade fan in since he seduced Brad. But Matt loves him, so I'm willing to give him a LITTLE slack after Ch 44. Will told Zach to grow a spine and a brain, Wade may already have both those but he needs to pull his head out of his ass and look to the person that will give him unconditional love and support, out in the open, not cloaked away from the public.

Loved this series. Will there be more? Cheers. Michael

    Chapter 38

I'm not a fan of Wade. His reflection of "almost to a person, his friends are young wealthy and upper class". He's a snob. Without Matt to ground Wade, he's getting worse, and more like his mother. But Matt without Wade has been growing into his own, as a caring, compassionate and loving person. Love this story. Michael

    Chapter 37

I love Will. He slapped Wade with a dose of truth. Michael

    Chapter 32

Mark Wade is continuing to show his arrogance and demeaning attitude. Matt is dealing with this as maturely as I could hope to.. someone needs to break Wades nose. I totally agree with the review from Headstall. Cheers! Michael

    Chapter 29

Mark i loved the Brad and Sean connection. Seems like a nice fit for both. Im still not a Wade fan, but he had a minimal part of this chapter. Cheers, Michael

    Chapter 17

Mark i loved the emotions and growth that is showing. He's turning into a fine young man. Selfless, thoughtful, and caring. Brad is just starting to come out of the fog and I'm happy for him. He deserves to find a true love without the roller coaster drama. I loved Robbie but he had too much trauma and drama. I'm ready for an anvil or a safe to drop on Wades head just like in the road runner toons.. loved the chapter!, Michael

    Chapter 14

Hi Mark, I've only reviewed one other story previously, and only found your stories a couple months ago. I've been addicted since. I love the Matt/Wade storyline, and truly hope the best outcome. But Wade is starting to grate my last nerve. Matt screwed up, Matt is growing up, Matt is learning for his mistakes, and Matt is becoming a good man and caring person. Wade is arrogant, manipulative, condescending, and sometimes plain mean to Matt. It seems he loves to remind Matt is each and every mistake Matt makes. Then has to be reminded of all the good that Matt has done for him and his family. Matt has been his rock when he needed it, and he's needed quite often. He was Matt's rock only once, that I recall when he was in the hospital and in a coma. Wade claims he can't be on the emotional roller coaster that he considers Matt is give him. What about his emotional roller-coaster that he gives Matt? Wade doesn't admit or learn from his mistakes. To me, Wade is not too different than JJ. Both are snobs, diva's who demand their own way, and throw a tantrum when they don't get it. With all the money that Wade has, he's becoming his Mother. I don't blame Brad for the Brad/Wade hookup's. Wade had Brad in his sights and went for him. Sure Brad could have said no, but what man will say no to a 20-something throwing himself at you. The trauma of 9.11 torn Brad apart, Wade wasn't close to his parents (dad) and his pain was not nearly as intense. Brad lost his partner of over 20 years and Matt lost his biological dad that he'd created a beautiful bond with, and Wade lost his dad that he'd only recently began a tenuous relationship with. Thanks for letting me rant & rave. :-) Thank you for such a compelling story and family history that this CAP series is. Michael

    Chapter 30

I know there's another book in this series and I'm afraid to start reading it. Every time Stefs heart was broken, so was mine. I also know on the horizon in the late 70's and early 80's so many gay men, a lot of my friends, we're struck down in the prime of their lives by AIDS.

    Chapter 15

Great chapter. Kept me on pins and needles. I love the way Colton stood up to Derek, and didn't submit, when the odds were not favorable. AND I loved the way Derek put that "slut" shauna in her place. But Derek is still a dick. All very magical. Thanks.

    Chapter 5

Great story. I can definitely relate to those struggles. When you love someone with all your heart & soul and have those insane urges for a quick, impersonal sexual release, it's a difficult addiction to have.
