It's going to be a rough three days up to Christmas here (including Christmas day) with cold temps and lots of snow. I hope it won't keep the kids from getting here.
Yup. The entry is done except for a shelf (I'm making it myself out of two and a half inch thick lumber, which I will round at the corners, and it's going to sit on two old corbels my daughter gave me. I also have to get old-school-type coat hooks and another boot tray. Such a relief to have it done. It turned out amazing and cozy with two reclaimed wood walls and a beautiful LVT floor.
Oh, Lordie! I was right. That is a rarity indeed. What a lovely little story, my friend. Spending time with you is never a waste. There is a sweetness in your tellings I feel very comfortable with.
