    A complex and exciting chapter, tim. The Dave and Jae fight, the beginning of the battle for survival and then Dave getting hit. himself. I knew there were going to be casualties, but never thought Dave was going to be so wounded -- plus, did I mention the fight between Jae and Dave -- that was unexpected too. OK - whew! On a more serious note, good luck to you!!

    Thank you, Emi! I'm glad the pain came through, because when I wrote the poem, the pain was borderline physical. Thanks for your kind words.

    Thanks, AC! Those are healing thoughts. I wrote this at the nadir of my emotional state, while curled in a chair. Things are slowly getting better for me but I didn't want to let the poem go to waste -- especially cuz y'know I'm usually not very emotional. OK I better stop before I get struck dead by that lightning I was talking about. Thanks again.

    Thanks so much, AC! Thanks for the kind words and for all your support. I think your points are right on target. I'm super tickled Toph drew you in so fast! When I wrote those fist few scenes, the story I had in mind was nothing close to the one that evolved. Toph was responsible for that, not me! Thanks, again!

As interesting as that sounds, I don't think the timeframe makes it possible, unless David and Toph are somehow in parallel universes. Anyway, thanks for following, and for your support!
