Okay. I should not relish someone's torture but, oh how I enjoyed this. That said, his task, if completed, will certainly stir things up. I'll be interested to see. I also wonder if Renn isn't far to trusting of Wryyt.

There's so much in this chapter. Melgy is one tough woman. I wouldn't want to be on her bad side. Danae is accepting that Darren is who she wants to be with in spite of he aunt's trepidation. The appearance of Randalos and Keah will hopefully give them a better chance against what's coming. I do hope that Aunt Anibella and Offus survive unharmed. Now to distract myself until next week 🤣

(Moans) Cliffhanger! I said before that I'm a little in love with Franz and this chapter just makes him more interesting . I actually had wondered if he had some sort of might since his vision in the mirror haunted him so. I had decided I was wrong and them the bomb dropped. Fun chapter and do i dare hope the next will go on with THIS story? I'm afraid to hope. 🤣

I was so hoping to see the end of Renn. It would serve him right for it to be unspectacular. He definitely has nine lives. Here's hoping he gets a nasty infection from the bite and dies horribly I'm enjoying Soek's story too.

I'm so proud of Bartos and I hope he gets to Josel in time. I really am enjoying seeing into his thoughts. Josel's mother wants to bond with him, have him serve her so she can be proud of him. Even as vile and evil as she is she wants him to love her. While I hope the thing she's birthing kills her, her desires towards Josel being her undoing would be very satisfying.

I'm quite in love with Franz! He is much smarter and more thoughtful than he gets credit for. That said, he's also a naive dreamer who can sabotage himself with his fierce heart. Pink got way more information from him than he did from her. She both annoys and intrigues.

Wow. I really love the way things are all connected. It's good to learn about Ade's past as well as his sister's. I wonder how the Temogams will respond to Isendar's request. I see a few surprises ahead for him.

Zal's old friends and acquaintances are not doing him any good right now. Finding a Faceless is going to be a tough job. Hopefully he can turn Eistaf's plan into something usefull.

Great chapter! Bartos saved the day. Now, he needs to learn to use the newly discovered type of might at will. Andreuz, as has been pointed out, is amazingly lucky. I can't wait to find out Otello's information. Next week feels long way off.

Great chapter. Zal"s misplaced trust will gnaw at him until he takes care of Renn. I hope Zdain isn't caught in the crossfire. Anden must be a sight for sore eyes .

As quick as Jolanda is, she totally misjudged the situation. The Darkness demands a price and now she is trapped. It was beautiful to watch. That said, I feel sure she will rise to the task given her.

This is a beautiful way to end this part(?). Nick is hopeful but prepared for things to be hard sometimes. Jack is not alone and knows he's not alone. I love Tommy and Jonah's date. Tommy is already being pulled into the circle. I hope they do well. Thanks for the ride. It's been awesome.

As I read this , I realized I was holding my breath. Jack's breakdown is heartwrenching Nick's realization about the cutting is too. His feeling of helplessness is palpable. Tommy is the friend Nick has needed for so long and needs more now. I hope Jack can get through his jealousy issues because he'll be good for him as well.
