Lots happening in this chapter. Good to see Otello. His plan to share the knowledge in the Troubador books will certainly draw the attention of the Darkeness forces and maybe flush out some unforeseen enemies. I'm looking at you Tac Tenogam. The scarred man's exit is cool and a little scary. I'm glad he's on their side. Good to see our boy Josel safe for now. Also, I never noticed any discrepancies in your English. The few oddities I noticed were, I assumed, grammar choices based on the world you've created.

And the pieces move towards the rebel stronghold. This chapter was big in it's scope. Franz is being taught that patience will be rewarded, this time with information, although he's still bullheaded enough to need holding back. Andreuz' conversation with Monteilon shows just what a poor excuse for a human he is. Great chapter

Oooohhh surprises🤔
-
Interesting. We knew this was likely Ade's end but what a surprise to find why he was sent. I knew Tac Temogam was more than he seemed. This doesn't ɓode well for Zdain. Tac did say Zdain would be called to action. Renn has his chance to get one of his tasks finished but I wonder how Zal's planned attack will affect it. I still have a feeling it is not going to turn out well for him. I hope it's bad. Every chapter is so good and I can't wait for the next.

I enjoyed this story a lot. The ending is sweet. We all need a happy ending right now. (Double entendre intended). This story was heavy enough to keep us invested and light enough to be a fun read. THANK YOU

Kudos to Jared for being the reasonable one. Also, Mark is pretty bad at reading the signs.
-
Poor Mark. It would have been too easy for him to say to Jared that he needed to talk to Sandro. And maybe not get drunk when you do.
-
And there it is. Mark finally worked out what we all knew. Admitting it will hopefully help him figure out what to do.
-
We forget the Franz is a teenager, with all the arrogance, ignorance and misjudging of their own importance. At various times you to want smack him,hug him and laugh at him in equal measure. I still don't think he's realized that his grand adventure is part of a deadly game. He's a complex, messy, and well written character. All that is to say, I love him 😋
-
It's often the case that people struggling with their own gayness make themselves act homophobic just to prove to themselves that they're not gay. At least Mark realizes what his did is about him and not Sandro
-
Mark seem more unhappy with Sandro being gay than anyone else is. He needs ti figure himself out
-
P.S. I love Zdain declaring, like a petulant child, that Ade fucked him twice.
-
Tac unsettled me from the start. He sees everyone as a pawn. He's a pre manipulator who wants to lead the republicans to victory so he can be in inpower. He reminds me of Robspierre. I don't believe for one minute he won't send Zdain and his brother to the front. He used the threat to ensure Elyssa did just as he wanted. . That accomplished so easily does notbode well for his promise

Ade ĥas the worst luck. I hope he survives but I'm not sure he will. It does seem like a lot have been taken out recently.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Go Bars! I'm literally shaking after reading this chapter. Bartos saved the day, even though had help. It's awesome to see him come into his own. Poor Josel will have so many questions. Good riddance oh his mother. I do hope Ivas is okay. He's been such big help to them. I hope you had a great holiday and thanks for this chapter.
-
Bartos is about to be tested by fire. I hope Ivar isn't setting him up Josel's dream is interesting. There is a subconscious realization that Zdain is his person. Jolanda showing up in it maybe signifies his old world chasing him. Certainly, he's afraid of her. Every interaction with his mother is terrifying and the birth of the "brother " is the most terrifying. Enjoy your holiday and I'll e waiting as patiently as I can for the next chapter.

This is a great chapter. They"re older and no longer the same people. They both feel the change in the dynamics of their relationship. Time changes everything. Sadly, I think Ade is right about not returning.
-
Okay. I should not relish someone's torture but, oh how I enjoyed this. That said, his task, if completed, will certainly stir things up. I'll be interested to see. I also wonder if Renn isn't far to trusting of Wryyt.

There's so much in this chapter. Melgy is one tough woman. I wouldn't want to be on her bad side. Danae is accepting that Darren is who she wants to be with in spite of he aunt's trepidation. The appearance of Randalos and Keah will hopefully give them a better chance against what's coming. I do hope that Aunt Anibella and Offus survive unharmed. Now to distract myself until next week 🤣

(Moans) Cliffhanger! I said before that I'm a little in love with Franz and this chapter just makes him more interesting . I actually had wondered if he had some sort of might since his vision in the mirror haunted him so. I had decided I was wrong and them the bomb dropped. Fun chapter and do i dare hope the next will go on with THIS story? I'm afraid to hope. 🤣

I was so hoping to see the end of Renn. It would serve him right for it to be unspectacular. He definitely has nine lives. Here's hoping he gets a nasty infection from the bite and dies horribly I'm enjoying Soek's story too.
-
I'm so proud of Bartos and I hope he gets to Josel in time. I really am enjoying seeing into his thoughts. Josel's mother wants to bond with him, have him serve her so she can be proud of him. Even as vile and evil as she is she wants him to love her. While I hope the thing she's birthing kills her, her desires towards Josel being her undoing would be very satisfying.
-
I'm quite in love with Franz! He is much smarter and more thoughtful than he gets credit for. That said, he's also a naive dreamer who can sabotage himself with his fierce heart. Pink got way more information from him than he did from her. She both annoys and intrigues.
-
Wow. I really love the way things are all connected. It's good to learn about Ade's past as well as his sister's. I wonder how the Temogams will respond to Isendar's request. I see a few surprises ahead for him.

chrstphrl commented on Lupus's story chapter in Key people and glossary (book 4)
Thanks for this! It helps me remember all the ties.
