I just looked outside. Over my way, the trees are doing a slow dance, so I’ve got my fingers crossed the DJ doesn’t change the music... Last night, though, couldn’t see the wind, but I had a moment of thinking, I hope my windows don’t break.

I have a feeling you did well with the responsibility that landed on your shoulders. As for waiting to read Camp Refuge, you can breathe a sigh of relief because my To Read list is miles and miles long. Damned thing is alive if you ask me.

Finally had the chance to read this through from start to finish. Very insightful with lots of things to think about and consider, Especially in this age of social media where the court of public opinion has run amuck too many times. Like tim, I am reactionary. It’s tough to overcome, but with a lot of wise words I’ve read (you know one phrase I’m talking about Mac) I do believe I’m making some progress in that area. I will say not all my reactions are negative per se. Some are positive, but the timing may not be right to let them out.

Carlos, thank you for asking me to tag along on what was a truly epic ride. I know I learned a lot from you - the importance of dialogue within a story and what it conveys was a huge “a ha” moment for me - about the ins and outs of storytelling through our many conversations. It’s been grand and I look forward to our next adventure whenever and however that comes about. You are a true and dear friend. 1810
