  1. pat on the back for me i had to call DirectTV and cancel our service tonight i was prepared for their hard sell, "Oh, we have all these packages, let me see what I can do to get you to stay...." and he was loaded for bear! had all kinds of pricing schemes and packages i stood firm, said "no thank you, we just don't watch that much TV anymore. But i appreciate that you had to try." the customer service guy laughed, and we got the contract cancelled. hope everyone's having a good evening
  2. clever solution the farmers market is not allowing you into the stalls, not even to choose vegetables, and there are chalk markings on the asphalt where you are to stand that's what i was thinking!
  3. they told Phil today in their meeting that his department will be working from home until at least the end of August. the IT department, along with managers and supervisors, are now working on a way to get employees monitors and keyboards as all they were allowed to take with them were their laptops.
  4. thank you rick i just sat down at the kitchen table to boot up my computer for the day, turned & looked at Phil and said "i'm not sure i even want to go back to the office full time."

    Trust

this is a wonderful chapter so much growth for everyone trust can be hard won, and oh so easily lost well done Wayne
  6. When we first meet N’than he’s in a bit of trouble. His lover is trying to kill him to further his own ambitions! It’s this first scene that draws you into the story, and gets you hooked. After he’s rescued, we follow along while N’than navigates his new life. In doing so, our young friend finds himself in situations he has little control over. However, along the way he’s met a few friends who are there when he needs them. tim has created another world that is just familiar enough that you can see it in your mind's eye. The people who inhabit it seem just as real as you or me. Take some time and have a read. You won’t be sorry!

  9. how would i feel, if all of a sudden, letters from someone i don't know started appearing in the mialbox? someone who obviously just needs someone to listen. i also love the reference to the phone book, "...the real deal, printed on paper, in ink..."
