  1. Glad to know people are still discovering Jack and friends years after I first wrote about them. Thanks for the comment!
  2. Over the next few days, the national news and gossip media descended on Pleasant View, and Destiny was forced to more or less stay home in her apartment and do her best to avoid them. Her boss at the diner was being very understanding about letting her miss work to avoid the media circus, fortunately. Destiny’s mother Josephine had come down from Rosemont to stay with her, and run errands for her. They had talked a lot and had gotten past what had gone on in Chicago. The main thing in the h
  3. Thirty minutes later raw passion had flared between Ronnie and Gunnar. Clothes were literally ripped off, a lamp was accidentally broken, and by the time they said goodnight each was thoroughly satisfied and already feeling more than just lust for one another. As he was lying down to go to sleep, Ronnie thought back to how good Gunnar’s long, hard cock had felt inside him as he had ridden it until Gunnar had exploded inside a condom. He remembered how impressively full that rubber had looked
  4. “What’s to clear up?” Josephine asked her daughter. “You left because that damn triflin’ ass no good man you was datin’ was beatin’ up on you. Instead of leaving school, I still say you shoulda let me come up there and kick his sorry no-account ass all the way back to the south side like I wanted to!” Destiny couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Oh, Momma,” she said, “True enough, but that is what I have got to tell you.” Destiny’s voice turned totally serious again, “See, there was a lot mo
  5. Glad you're enjoying it!
  6. “Do what?” Billy Jack asked, startled. “Yeah.” Barney replied, and then proceeded to explain the whole situation. “Whoa!” Billy Jack exclaimed after Barney had finished. “So, Jenny Faye Smith is Destiny Rose’s biological grandmother – and Jenny Faye's – rapist – is Destiny’s biological grandpa?” “Yep, afraid so,” Barney replied simply. “Damn,” Billy Jack replied. “And after all these years, Destiny’s mom, Josephine, has no idea that she was the product of that horrible attack on Jenny Fay
  7. A few days later, and a few hundred miles away, Ronnie glanced in the rearview mirror at the tall, barbed wired-topped set of security gates closing behind him, and realized that a major chapter of his life was closing along with them. His top supervisor had personally seen him off, and thanked him again for his years of service to this particular shadowy government agency – for which he had been a top secret agent since leaving the FBI some years before. They were reluctant to see him go, but
  8. The weird events of the previous spring were nearly forgotten as the fun of summer was on everyone’s mind in Pleasant View as June, 2014 was drawing to a close. Well, everything except, of course, for the major traffic headache caused by the bridge being out downtown. The state and federal government had promised to build a new U.S. 25 Bridge as quickly as possible, and in fact work was already well underway on the new span. Meanwhile, getting from one side of downtown to the other meant back
  9. In part six of the gay erotic soap and mystery series "Pleasant View," Brad, Jack and friends are along for the ride as a young singer named Destiny Rose chases her dreams - while hiding a secret that is initially only known locally to Barney.
  10. Meanwhile, over in Smithville, Holly Jones was having sex with yet another married man. She had to admit it, Avalene was right, this was one time she didn’t mind taking a man to bed just to use him for their purposes. Jonathan Hopkins was one hot fucker. And one hot very fuck. When it was over, Holly had no regrets. She left that night with a signed, pre-dated contract in hand. She smiled as she drove toward Avalene and Tom’s mansion, eager to deliver the good news, and the contract, to th
  11. At the moment, Jack assumed that Brad was screaming because he had awakened to the sight of the Mothman above them. “That's it, I’ve had enough of this fucking shit!” Jack exclaimed, as he leaped from the bed. He grabbed his gun off the nightstand and ran right out onto the porch of the cabin, then on out to the where the long drive that led up the mountain ended in front of the cabin. Brad ran behind him, out onto the porch. They were both naked, not only because they always slept naked bu
  12. Billy Jack, like Eric, had done a good deal of reading about the 1967 events in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, long before all of this recent high strangeness had happened in Pleasant View, Kentucky. Billy Jack had grown up in Eastern Kentucky, a couple of hours east of Pleasant View, and much closer to ground zero for those weird events at the time, as well as the tragedy of the Silver Bridge. He remembered hearing about all of it back when he was just 16. Now he knew for sure that Woodrow
  13. Irene Mosely was already in bed asleep that Tuesday night. She would be up and at the Thomason House Bed and Breakfast by 6:00am to start making breakfast for Brad’s and Jack’s guests. She very much enjoyed cooking breakfast, serving it, and talking to all the interesting people who stayed at the inn. She didn’t even mind cleanup and doing the dishes. Irene was a 66-year old widow with no children, and her 35-year old niece Rayann Willis, who lived just down the road, was the housekeeper at
  14. The "Eyes of the Mothman" documentary is something I strongly recommend if you are intrigued by this topic. It is a lengthy, but great, look at the actual events that the Gere film was very loosely based on. After visiting Point Pleasant I thought it would be interesting to bring Indrid and Mothman into the present day, and move them over here to Kentucky for a creepy visit with Jack and friends, so here we go. Also gives me a chance to expound upon my own theories as to who and what they might have been.
  15. The next day passed uneventfully for Brad and Jack. Justin and Jack had not really said much else to one another yet about what had happened the day before. Eric still had not mentioned what he had seen the night before to Justin or anyone else yet, either. The housekeeper who took care of the guest rooms in the inn for Brad and Jack had finished her work quickly, since only one room had been rented the night before, but on this night three rooms were occupied. At 6:30 that evening, while J
  16. Thought it was time Barney became a bit less one dimensional, even though his one dimension is FABULOUS lol.
  17. A bit more than two years after Brad and Jack had enjoyed their honeymoon, gay marriage was still unfortunately not legal in their home state of Kentucky. But, they were still very much in love and it was a beautiful spring morning in Pleasant View, Kentucky. Brad Carson smiled to himself contentedly as he gazed over at his husband, who was lying in bed next to him still peacefully asleep. And he was also wonderfully bare-assed naked beneath just a soft white sheet. Brad admired the broad,
  18. "A Cold Spell," the fifth installment of my "Pleasant View" series is unlike anything that comes before or afterward in the ongoing lives of Jack, Brad, and friends. "A Cold Spell" is my foray into the world of sci-fi, and is also my homage to the eerie events surrounding a tragedy and a mythical (or real) creature that some say still haunts the hills and hollers of Appalachia.
  19. Jack's jaw literally dropped for a moment, and then he stared at his father for another long moment. Finally he spoke, "You're - gay, too?" "Yes," Billy Jack replied. "Your mother filled me in about you," he then added in explanation. "Look, it was no excuse for abandoning you and your mother, and I'm not saying it was," Jack's father continued. "But, that was years ago and back then it was even worse for gay people in this area than it is now. I just felt like in California I could be mys
  20. Thanks for reading, glad you are enjoying it!
  21. Meanwhile, Dan Channing had just insisted on turning down Miz Vivian's generous offer to join her for dinner. Dinner was not usually included in the price of a stay at the bed and breakfast, and Channing felt as though he would be imposing or taking advantage of the generosity of his gracious host, and told her as much. "Well, all right then. But, if you want to have the best meal in Pleasant View - outside of MY kitchen that is," Miz Vivian advised with a grin, "then head on over to the Ramb
  22. Always appreciate your comments.
  23. There is romance in Barney's future, but maybe not with who you think
  24. Glad it is keeping you interested Getting ready to edit and post the next chapter.
  25. Jack stood there in stunned silence for a moment, and then spoke slowly. "OK, thank you Barney, and I'm sorry I was being hateful. Tell Momma I'll call her back in a few minutes." "Oh, no problem, see y'all later!" Barney called as he traipsed off hurriedly through the snow back to his house. Jack closed the door, and he and Brad walked back to their room together where they slipped into lounge pants and t-shirts. As they were doing this, Brad asked, "So what in the world do you make of th
