  1. Home cooked meatballs, lettuce and tomato sandwich. Juicy tomato meant my shirt got a bit messy but it tasted great.
  2. Now I have more serious things to worry about - what’s for lunch?
  3. It was surprisingly straight forward. It was really only a couple of branches that needed removing. It was one of those procrastinating jobs - seemed more work that it was It is also the limit of my abilities. Anymore work will need professionals.
  4. Boring housework and clipping the branches of wayward bushes It is not as much fun as actually doing something exciting…
  5. Hello young Albert Nice orchid
  6. Awesome news Albert
  7. Hi there Terry Felling a bit claustrophobic with a cloudy day but apart from that I’m doing ok. Democracy sausage is in May but now you mention it a trip to the butchers might be a good idea. There is a new one opened up and I wonder if I will be as lucky as Clo and find a sexy butcher there? Hows life with you?
  8. Well autumn is here (for a little while) so I hope someone is getting the benefits. Crisp mornings and cool days. Bit cloudy Things change at the end of the week with Thursday being 27 and Friday will be 30
  9. Same food at both houses… he might need to look at a third house for pampering

  15. Wow that sounds great. Any leftovers?
  16. One small piece of advice, if you do get Drew to come up to nurse you, make sure you also get someone in to cook for you
  17. Was it cooked? Or was it dry, straight out the box?
  18. I have always thought it was a great idea. An awesome fundraiser and you get food and drink while you wait for your turn to vote. I turned up late one year and they had run out of sausage
  19. Hi there Terry I do like Japanese, good to hear you had a good time
  20. Hello young Albert
  21. Ummm… nope, no way, even we Australians have limits
  22. Almost all of our polling takes place at primary schools. They tempt the captive audience with sausage or cake or other goodies - it is an awesome fundraiser for all the schools that do it. And there is a national website listing all of the goodies for sale at each polling place. It’s a fantastic idea and we talk more about the democracy sausage than the actual vote The important questions every election are - slice of bread vs bun (slice of bread) - horizontal vs diagonal placement of sausage (diagonal, weird because I would do it horizontal at home) - sauces, condiments and onions (tomato, none, no onions) While there is some “debate” about onions vs no onions, there is national consensus that the onions should be very very well cooked (burnt buggered is the technical term) - highly caramelised
  23. I may not have put the correct postage
  24. Wow, it must be politics day. The Australian Federal Election was announced today Everyone will be having their democracy sausage on 21 May. I hope the website is running again, I didn’t vote at my closest school because they had NO SAUSAGE As you can tell, the democracy sausage is a serious thing
  25. He knows just how mischievous she can be
