Stinking hot here… the good thing is our holiday destination is right on the beach so the sea breeze will save us - crossing fingers Dad has decided he wants something Mediterranean for Christmas lunch (sun dried tomatoes was his suggestion) My sister and I will pull together the menu tomorrow.

Where has this year gone? Only 11 days left in 2021 And while we are at it, where are the mini hamper wrappings I bought last week. Cute box, cellophane and ribbon all ready to go and now I can’t find them Two days left at home then heading down south for some cooler Christmas weather. We are trying to be better at only bringing enough food for the week we are there - last year was a bit crazy with food for a month

Hello young Albert I am officially unemployed as of tonight the good news is the redundancy payout means I don’t need to start a go fund me page or onlyfans The ever better news was I got taken to one of the local Thai restaurants and we had the “impress me” banquet. So much good food.

Some important words… as kids we thought grown ups had it all sorted and then we become grown ups and realise everyone just scrambles along. And from the wise words of my nephew - you know taste buds, well they change all the time, Uncle Bucket, so you have to try new things and old things you didn’t like cause you might like them now (serious look on a very young face) OMG he will be 16 in a couple of weeks
