    It’s not too bad this side of the country - I like autumn and spring weather I have even managed to do a few errands Wet weather is a good excuse to have a cuppa and read a book or two

    There is always something brewing At the moment I'm drinking a black Moroccan, half black tea, half peppermint. It's quite refreshing Also less of the theatre, no big high pours from the kettle into the cup. I've seen it done live a couple of times and am still amazed that the tea goes into the glass and not all over the table.

    Not too bad - it’s a bit sticky but I'm coping And my grand cooking plans are for a lazy dinner heating up the pasta from my Italian grocers. They do a chicken and mushroom pasta which is on the menu tonight
