Watching reruns of Mork and Mindy was a family affair, and we always got together as a family to see whatever he starred in. It's funny how a person I never knew was such an integral part of my childhood. He will surely be missed.
Mostly punk and progressive metal with a prodigious amount of Japanese bands thrown in. Needless to say, the kids were surprised. I guess they expected more laid back music from a cardigan-loving english teacher.
Counting Stars by OneRepublic. I call it my happy song.

My dad let me watch Arachnophobia when I was a child, and I blame that terrible movie for my actual arachnophobia as an adult. My dad wasn't the best at gauging what was appropriate for a child to watch. He also let me watch The Exorcist when I was little, gave me nightmares for weeks. At least I can say that he instilled a strong love for all things horror, fantasy, and science fiction.

The entire movie is just a terrible plot setting up for the alien having sex with a woman at the end. It is so bad, it's enjoyable to watch for the ridiculousness.
I was a teacher for several years and I loved to bring in things like that for my students to play around with. I brought in my first generation iPod one time and their reactions were priceless. They didn't believe me when I told them what it was, but I showed them that it still worked. After that the conversation degenerated into my strange taste in music. lol
It's nonexistent here! We have some bars, but they are mostly just drag bars. Don't get me wrong, I love a good drag bar, but they only have a few nights that are "gay" nights. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Just be honest but firm in your resolve to break up. If you're really through with trying to make the relationship work, that's the best solution. There's no need to lie about whose fault it is or paint it up in pretty colors, just tell them the truth.
