@ TetRefine - i totally understand what you are saying & am really ready to be put down / rejected by this lad - there isn't any delusions on my part - apart from the fantasy's in my mind that i'm enjoying at the moment (and yes i expect that's all they'll be) - what happens or not we'll see - one thing i want to make perfectly clear is the last thing that i would want to do is cause him embarrassment or to be uncomfortable - which is why when i was talking to him, and will do in the future, it is well away from prying ears - and this is also for my benefit as well as his - rumor mills are not good things especially if you don't control them. @ Daddydavek - well i dont know about being hung like a horse - maybe looking like the backside of one (totally joking) i used to ride a lot when i was younger - a friend (which is a completely different story) had a couple and we used to go trekking most weekends

ok next on this long saga ... tonight ...... drum roll please .. (closest smiley to a drum - well its got an instrument in it) .. i SPOKE to him next to the water cooler ! (this bits important for the next part) - typical balls up though .. totally forgot to introduce myself - gezzz - you have all these conversations in your head all weekend & during the day at work ... and when it comes to it ... gahhh ... melt ... hehe.. anywhos - i kept noticing he was going to the water cooler every 10 mins or so ... so pretending my bottle was empty (it was clearly only half empty - or is that half full ?) i casually mentioned he should bring a bottle... he replied back that yes he kept on meaning to bring one but he keeps forgetting -- light bulb time (no smiley for that ?) - i'll buy him one, find some interesting wrapping paper, a small gift card & write my phone number and a message like "call me and we can get a drink together" .. subtle no ? but that's not all !!... he finished his work out and 10 mins later my routine was done .. off to the changing room (i really should have got there 5 mins earlier ) - typical crowd where my locker is, so i move to the empty area to wait and there he is ... half dressed (bottom half - but hey .. he still looks good - he looks good even fully clothed ... ) - have another small chat about nothing at all (place is crowded at this time, 2 showers down (we could have shared if there was enough room - very tiny cubicles ! ) - i did point out that i was there 4 days a week - he's still only turning up on a Monday ... still off to Amazon & see what they've got - roll on next week and gift giving .... plan Q .. the local golf club has an Oktoberfest gathering tomorrow - open to all the public - i'm sure this lad is local, after all the hotel that has the gym has generally local members - so you never know he might turn up .. who can resist a beer & sausage ! if he does then a slight diversion away from my work colleges .. to get a chat ... i know i'm moving into dream land here .. but hope springs etc.

Monday last, was running late - more Germany rebuilds (thanks Microsoft for putting in a fix so the tool i use to switch languages no longer works - so its all weird commands & hope no blue screens) - anyway beautiful (taken me about 20 times to spell that !) boy isn't there - and doesn't turn up for my whole routine - get showered & changed, and just as i leave - he turns up ! ... he's also with an older woman ... mother ? - another week wasted ... however, if he turns up with her next week , then maybe that's a way in ?a few non-committal questions, i.e. your son ?, name ?, single ? (well that 1 might be a bit awkward to explain to her ... but you never know ....) .. side note - although i never spoke to my mum about this - she clearly knew, after all we had this sort of psychic connection we consistently knew what each other were thinking - we were born on the same day, 24 years apart... weird thing i was suppose to be born in February, but came out in April - doctors said everything was fine (which is why they didn't induce) they said i just fell asleep ... something i do very easily even today its got to a point where I've got to make the move ... and i really will ...

if anyone wants to come up with a story ... i might come up with some ideas or plots ... but writing is not one of my strong points - anyone can run with them if they like .. heck its taken over 10 mins to word this correctly & good for spell corrections

Oops forgot to add - I'm not a "lick all over" type of guy - well not for 1st meetings - that sort of comes wellllll later - even then I'm really just a kiss & cuddle type really - don't get me wrong , sex is good, but in a real relationship trust and closeness is much higher for me

Hi from not so sunny Frankfurt (and via the mobile version of the forum - using a 5th gen iPod touch) Well let's see what happens next Monday (he still only seems to show up on that day) ☺️

recently I've joined a local (to my work place) gym - on doctors orders ! every Monday there is this cute young guy working out, I suspect he's in in middle to late 20's tall, very slim, brown hair cut very short on the sides - gorgeous, sigh.... tack and subtle really isn't me, so I've of course been watching him, no drool or tongue hanging out but he's clearly seen me watching him. why-o-why in these "enlighten" times is it so difficult just to walk up an talk to a guy - its not as if I was going to ask if I could jump him, although fantasy time , but just introduce myself and see where it goes from there.... after all I've been in the changing room with him when he's come out of the shower but he's clearly a little shy showing off his body, sort of doing a weird dance trying to dry off without taking the towel from around his waist and snucking his underwear on the same way - he's clearly practised changing on the beach in & out of trunks this way ... me ? .. pfft .. we're all the same so sling the towel over my shoulder before hitting the shower.. (I've got 3 brothers (plus a sister) - so growing up in a small house you never really had much privacy, and shared baths with everyone at one time or other) today i think will be the day, been nervous all day, playing out different scenarios in my head - so get changed, then into the gym and start my workout, cross trainer, weights and don't spot him at all ... perhaps he's not coming today ? go to my last piece of equipment - cycle - and finally spot him. ggahhhhhhh... all plans out of my head, stare, smile at him - he starts lifting weights right in front of me, facing the mirror, he can clearly see me watching him, then he puts the weights down turns around, starts to walk towards me, calm down my rapidly beating heart , and that's clearly NOT due to the cycling that I'm no longer doing !, he walks behind me - keeps going - wha ? - then leans over one of the recumbent cycles 2 machines down and starts talking to this woman ! - clearly they know each other ... "oh bugger !" .. must be his girlfriend (never seen her before in the past few weeks I've been ogling at this guy) .. CRAP! ... at least I didn't make a complete tit of myself trying to ask him out. oh well ... fantasy isn't going to come true this time ..... maybe next time ... and I'm in Frankfurt for work this week perhaps things might change when I come back...

hi Maxx, totally agree with your sentiment - some people find comfort in religions which is good for them, others not - its each to their own.

my parents are of mixed religious backgrounds ... but both never pushed their faith onto us, their kids, instead they gave us a background understanding of them .. most having the tenet (boiled down to the most simplest form) of "do unto others that you wish to be done to yourself" - if your kind & open to others they should do the same...(if they get it at all).. in the end eldest brother is lapsed catholic (only because his wife was one - now she's gone evangelical - so both in the process of divorce), ditto for sister (only so she could get her kids into a good school) , 2nd brother Jewish (living in Israel), youngest brother WAS Jewish, Married with kids, now divorced & married to a nice Italian catholic girl & with 2 more daughters - me ? a Darwinist & gay (but not completely out - in fact so far in the closet I'm sure I'm in Narnia sometimes - but working my way out of it a bit quicker these days) people really should always be left to make up their own minds ...

the lounge had a section for favourite youtube videos , but it looks like that's been archived - so that's why I've created this topic.. going through the old list - I use the Torch browser (which is a fork off of Google's Chrome browser) http://www.torchbrowser.com/ - which has a handy built-in feature which allows you to download video (and rip out the audio as a separate file if you wish) - I've come across some songs I've never heard before... so, anywhos, I've made up a list of songs that I like - I've always thought through music you can make up a story - some of these are very close to me - I'm a bit of a romantic... hi, totally understand that there's going to be a bit of work, and that's probably a real understatement regarding the conversion - i work for a media company that does digital versions of newspapers and magazines for the airline industry - although ours are based on PDF's - but i'll take a look see for kindle - and that's going to be my last word on that subject - well for a while at least keeps up the good works ... YAY ! new chapter - wow ! - but that needed to be done - i suspect another kiss and tell, but Jimmy's already tried that and it didnt sort of work out as he planed so (fingers crossed - ditto this time) ... has Billy been paid for all this work at the record store ? - nice story line might be that he blows the lot on getting him & brandon away from every one - some lake motel or some such - just so they can be alone to talk - single beds - just to prove that true love isnt about sex but a look, touch, hug or kiss is all it needs to speak volumes - then if all goes well the beds could be pushed together ( but as a complete after thought of course ) -- but heck you've probably planned out a much better story line as for the other stories and kindle versions - would a rewrite really be necessary ? the fans love them as they are & the artist is never really satisfied with the brilliance of the work - or am i just buttering you up a bit too much here ,... hehe ... going through the shack collection 1 and found "Arcade Junkies" - Matt, Sam ? where have i read those names before ? , then Taylor pops up ... ahhh ... another side of "New Kid" - like "Ryan's Heart" - like it .... a couple of other manga / graphic books i've recently read (and really liked) are "the Rules of Standing on Tiptoe" by Puku Okuyama - nice japanese high school beginning romance between Kosuke ( a very short kid) and Raku (a tall part japanese boy). the other one is a set of 3 short graphics novels called "Off Beat" by Jen Lee Quick - now this one had been in the making for over 10 years !! - about a very intelligent science student who gets swept up with the mystery of a boy who's just moved in down the road... keep up the good works and OXOXOX Marc

all 7 kindle versions now read - noticed that book 8 was up on GA .. now finished all 24 chapters there must learn to read slower ! didnt help that i'm so hooked that i had to keep sneaking out of the office and find a quiet corner in the server room to keep getting my fix - good job it was a slow week last week otherwise damn users would have kept bugging me..... when book 8 comes out in kindle format i'll buy that as well (always nice to have a complete set) keep up the good works (anything happening on the "New Kid in School" front ? - kindle version ?) - two great magnum opera's. still never mind i've got your two hard back books to keep me going for a while (although slipping out the office with them might be a little tricky - but that's a challenge i'll like ) keep up the good works..
