    This isn't a story; it is a masterfully written experience that will make you never look at teapots the same way again. I highly advise that you not read this while listening to 30 Seconds To Mars's The Kill, but I do implore you to read it, preferably with a tissue box nearby. No one will judge you if you suddenly have the urge to gently hug the nearest teapot, either.

    Aaaaaaaah. It's okay, I can take it. I'd much rather read the version you feel satisfied with than anything you have to "force" to conform.

    The only thing I dislike more than a sad ending is a happy ending paved by the MC's worst possible romantic lead choice (The Abandoned Empress manhua, I'm looking right at you...out of two perfectly viable, strong options, you go with the third one no one wanted). So while I prefer happy endings to sad, I'd say use your own judgment or try to blend the two into one if you're that concerned.

    Noooooo! Wait, you only said participating in themes/events. This doesn't mean just writing more in general, right? I will legit fall into a deep sadness that knows no bounds if you tell me you're not working on another story right now.

    Thank you! To be fair, mine was the first story posted, and I didn't even realize it because I was about three days late due to it being "busy season" at my job. I had a blast, and I'm glad people were curious before and after the reveal. I think the anthology's due in October, which is around the corner, so it's up to you when you want to stop tracking these. I'm also curious about newer stories you might be working on.

    You already know my opinion about that. That's also why I think I was (safely?) anonymous except to a few people who recognized my writing from miles away. (*cough* like my good friend @CassieQ *cough*). I know, right? Same! Only I'm actually invested! Not me wanting to go to your restaurant. 😭 Wait, you're writing a vampire story? Let me know when you post it. I have a reading list from here to South America, but I will make the time.

    Yes...I didn't realize how badly I fucked up with this idea until I had to make up song lyrics (and I am no poet). 🤣 And there is no way @Ieshwar wrote this, I am nowhere near that level. My version of compelling is making readers go "aww yay" @Ieshwar's version of compelling is making readers go "who hurt you this way? forget them, I will love you, I will love you so hard you will never shed another tear" just completely different levels. 🤣🤣🤣

    🤣 You found me out. Nilus could have easily recharged with any bottle of water, but the irony that he chose sparkling water was a hidden joke. I might revisit this world at some point to show what happened to Lei. But Nil and Max are doing fine.

    Love comes in many different styles and depths. Love enters a person's life in many different ways. Our memories and feelings, however, linger long after a loved one has passed. This story moved me and was one of my favorites in the SA event.
