  1. She's a kid. She grasps some concepts better than others. Doesn't understand why Ash can't just be there forever. Ash is also still in denial about her name having anything to do with him.
  2. If only he’d listen to you!
  3. Wrapped in warmth, I woke up achingly aroused. My mind lagged behind reality, but my body knew exactly what was happening. The hand stroking me wasn't my own, and the hardness grinding against me from behind made it impossible to think. I squirmed, only to realize the teeth grazing my shoulder belonged to Cove Mitchell. A sharp breath escaped me as I thrust into his hand. Suddenly, Cove shifted away, leaving me confused until I found myself on my back with him straddling me. My eyes ad

    Epilogue: Say Yes

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone that took a chance on his story and provided much-needed feedback to @LunaM.. The GA community never disappoints and I'm truly touched by how you've welcomed Luna and her writing style with open arms. Many, many thanks!

    Epilogue: Say Yes

"Edgar! Can you bring a new wine bottle, too?" Anna yelled from across the garden when she saw him walking towards the house. He quickly gave her a thumbs up and then continued on his mission. "Oh, for her you do shit but for ME?! Next time I ask you to bring me another beer, I will remind you of this." Wilhelm next to him piped up, earning himself an annoyed side glance from his childhood friend. "She is my sister." The blond dryly stated, his mind occupied with what he was abou
  6. "Wow did you see that?! So pretty!" Alex cheered when an especially colorful rocket lit up the sky. He was half-way hanging over the railing and filming the show with the new phone Ed had bought him for Christmas. From the moment the first fireworks were lit, the teen's excitement was unstoppable while Ed's mood, on the other hand, got worse by the minute. The older guy had actually dreaded the day for weeks. All those noises, explosions and the smell of gunpowder in the air just reminded
  7. "Good morning." Ed mumbled towards the other person when he stepped into the elevator. He hadn't really looked who it was, too occupied with pondering over the best time to give Alex his Christmas gift and if what he had just bought was really the right thing. But when suddenly a, by now, very familiar voice lectured him that it was already midday, the blond immediately stiffened. Instinctively, he took a step back from the petite woman. It wasn't like he was afraid of her, but it was stil
  8. "This is..." Alex's mother said, trailing off when she spotted the half-dozen empty beer bottles that were lined up on the windowsill and the overflowing ashtray on the coffee table. Fuck, I should have cleaned it up...why do I always procrastinate on doing this shit?! Ed thought and cursed himself for being such a sloppy, lazy pig. His panic increased when she walked over to his bookshelf and took out one of his many self-help books that he had bought in the misguided belief that they woul

    Chapter 18- Daddy

"I have to leave now." Alex said when looking at the clock that was above Ed's old tv. It wasn't like he wanted to leave. But he knew, if he was late again, his mother would start to ask questions that he would rather avoid. Sure, she had figured out that he was gay, and to Alex’s surprise had simply just excepted it. But he was definitely not ready to tell her that he was actually dating a man that was only three years younger then her. If she finds out she will probably forbid me to ever see E
  10. Exactly. Alex wasn't grasping that. He was focused on trying to save money.
  11. "Two tickets please." Ed grumbled and pointed toward the movie poster behind the clerk. Even after having watched the trailer, he still had no idea what it was about, all he really knew was that he most likely would hate it even though Alex had assured him at least a hundred times that he wouldn't. The guy clicked around on the monitor in front of him for a moment before he looked back up again, eyeing Alex for a moment before asking somewhat hesitantly, "Both full price or...?"
  12. "Fuck this stupid bullshit. Nobody even cares." Alex mumbled, frustrated that not even in school had anybody remembered his birthday. He pressed the elevator button angrily. But, after pressing it a few more times out of frustration, he looked more closely and noticed that the red light next to the button was blinking, indicating that the stupid thing was broken once again. His day had already been terrible enough. First, his mother was already off to work when he woke up. Then, he failed

    Chapter 15- Love

Love is experienced on an individual level, familial level, society level, romantic level...there's no real easy answer for that one. 🤣

    Chapter 15- Love

Yeah, you wouldn't survive in a Spanish family. 🤣 Alex's mom is very bitter at the moment and isn't very positive in her way of thinking.

    Chapter 15- Love

"Mama, what is love?" Alex asked his mother while poking around in his pasta. "Bullshit, that's what it is." She almost immediately replied in between bites, making Alex sigh in frustration. He hadn't expected her to be overly cheerful about the topic. That wouldn't have made much sense, considering her own love life or, rather, the lack of it. Even before the divorce, Alex had never seen his mother be loving towards his dad or vice-versa. But, with what the teen now knew about his p

    Chapter 9- Reality

Yes, thanks for giving Ash's story a chance. Plattenbau's updates are consistent because it has been completed for quite a while, image inserts and all (and I really enjoy that story and squeal whenever readers come to similar conclusions that I did when reading it). Ash, on the other hand, was a spur of the moment prompt from the amazing @Aditus that I outlined and plotted out, but updates are slow when it comes to the next few chapters because I want to make sure that certain story elements click into place before we near the end.

    Chapter 9- Reality

Ash needs to let go of the illusion of having control of anything in his life. Some risks are worth taking and a better work-life balance is beneficial for anyone. That illusion of his is steadily beginning to shatter. And while Cove didn't intend it that way, to rob Ash of even more control (all he wanted was to remind Ash how good the two could be together and that he had matured and was an equally willing participant in bed)...he has helped to shatter more of that illusion in Ash.
  18. Yes again to all of this. Cove was indeed locking the door so Ashley wouldn't wander in (though he knows his little one is a heavy sleeper). And I'm glad you got a laugh out of Ash's antics. Mission accomplished.
  19. Though it wasn't explicitly written, that was totally playing in the background during that scene!
  20. Though he isn't even collaborating with the Barren family yet, you're right on the money with everything else.
  21. Bravo! I have come across (without even the shiny charm yet!) a shiny: Bronzor, one of those spiders that look like yarn...you can't miss it instead of white it's red...a venomoth, a snover, a rockruff (all three are blue)...I had a heart attack when I saw and caught a pink Dratini...meanwhile, my pregnant bestie caught a shiny dung beetle on the desert plateaus!! Instead of dung, he's rolling a ball of gold!!
  22. Yes, I am so proud of him and he's not even one of my characters. 😂
  23. Yes! Yes to all of this. Exactly. He does indeed need to evaluate what he is doing and set better goals for himself, and he will get his chance. Though, he's not going to like it.
  24. Yes, Michael is actually a cameo character from another story of mine, Tuesday Staff Meetings. Both stories are unrelated, but he's matured from back then and I still feel an odd proudness about that. And prophetic indeed.
  25. Ah, but Cove doesn't want to hold him hostage for real (trap him on occasion, yes, but hostage for life, no).
