  2. I knew I messed it up.
  3. It makes no difference...it's just an extra u. I have no preference. But I have to admit being born and raised in the USA, all of my time in Canada is pounding "colour" to my mind, as well as making the ize as the ise and making some of the -er as -re. x.x I guess it shoud be good...since I have to use the Canadian spelling for my schoolworks.
  4. No. lol It's to shop like hell for discounts after Christmas Day. The US has it too...just without a name. Boxing Day comes from "boxing" up the decorations after Christmas has passed. Though everyone doesn't really do that...too lazy. I won't be happy I'll miss Boxing Day this year... I'll be in the USA then... Damn...
  5. Well said, CJ Junior. Every post he makes is a milestone never seen in GA... hehe
  6. I read this in a Dutch gay comic (translated into French) that I love reading - Max et Sven There is a line explaining what is love and how to sum it up. I just love it...I could've even describe it any better than this...

  8. Congrats! Now go to Canada to get married. Just like I did two years ago... *blushes* Glad to know I'm not the only one who's crazy enough to plan on marrying at 18 and tied the knot at 20. lol
  9. My parents live 150 miles from NYC and I might be in PA for the summer to work my ass off if I don't find a good job in Canada during then. So NYC on a weekend in June sounds good to me. I might make it... Dallas? Dream on...I'm not flying to Texas. I've never been to Texas and I won't do it for this little meeting. Sorry. Since you did it in SF, it would be fair to shift half-way west or go to the East Coast, then go mid-country in 2009. The US is a huge country...it would be unfair to keep the location in one part of the country over and over. If you want me to suggest other places, then Philly...Boston...Washington DC... Yeah, I'm East Coast biased because that's where I grew up and those places are near me than anywhere else. It's nice to pick a location in the countryside, but in my opinion, it would be hard for some of us to make it due to limited transportation possiblities. If it's somewhere in eastern Pennsylvania or lower upstate New York, I could just drive...but further than that, sorry. I would suggest Toronto or Ottawa or Montreal or Quebec... But getting into Canada will be harder next year since we might need passports or special passport-driver's licenses to get in Canada. If you pick one of those Canadian cities, I'd make it in November or December then. Maybe June if I could find a job in Canada over the summer. Europeans should make up a location in Europe...don't worry about flying over the Altantic.
  10. Canada doesn't have that shit. Instead we have Boxing Day.
  11. It makes me happy to have flakes hitting my face. lol
  12. I'll have to start calling you CJ Junior.
  13. Obviously I never went there, but I'm aware that Ireland and the UK are the worst in the EU as far as I am concerned from a British guy I know. But I still believe it's better than back in the USA or Canada. Here, trains only connect to major cities close to the border and it's quite slow...it takes four days to go from one coast (Halifax, NS) to another (Vancouver, BC). Too slow compared to high-speed trains in France and Japan. I don't have a car... I use the metro and bus to get around as I'm lucky enough to live in a city with a subway. But I do rent a car sometimes... Last time I rented one was last September, I added 1700km in two days to get to New Brunswick from Montreal. Yeah I know...it was suicide but bless those Timmy Hortons for keeping me awake. But usually, I just add about 4000-5000km per year with my parents' car whenever I stay in the US during my holidays. Speaking of hydroelectric power, Quebec is the world's largest producer. About 97% of the power produced come from dams. Woot!
  14. Long live Montreal! Down with Toronto! You know well I got the spirits!
  15. They add more miles because the USA is rather a big country compared to all European countries save Russia. Plus, Europe has more mass-transportation options than the Americans. Basically, for those living out in the suburbs and countrysides... They have no choice but drive to get around. I cannot blame them... Canada isn't any better than the USA. It's probably even worse because it's less populated and you would have to go great distances to get to a sizable town. For me, I'd have to drive over 200km to get to the nearest big city (by Canadian standards) with population over 100,000 people. The West is worse since it's less populated.
  16. Well I'm anglophone... I'm an American living in Montreal.
  17. And converted to imperial because we Americans are retarded when it comes to metric. I even can't use it...but I thank god they use some imperial here, hence making my life much easier not converting everything into pounds, inches, and gallons all the time.

  19. I just got my Canadian citizenship a month ago. Ok I was kidding yes...but just few years away...lol $7 per gallon...gallon. If you do it $7 per litre, that's $26 per gallon. The Dutchies don't pay THAT much.
  20. He's so gonna get a kick out of this. When he comes back, I'm going to make a topic celebrating his (number)th post. Just to let him know I'm still bugging him. +1 post here.

  22. I guess you Americans have it good now. In Montreal, it's $1.10CND per litre, which about $4.30USD per gallon. But I don't have a car here in Canada...so I'm not worried and I don't keep an eye on the prices. I had to look it up. lol
  23. I guess my "prayers" for Eric's death failed miserably. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: Good work!
  24. Dream on shoppingwhore.
