    Chapter 1

As I held the razor in my hand, I looked at the dim morning lights out of the window in my dark room, looking for any sign, any reason to stop myself from going ahead. But what should I expect from this season? Outside there is nothing but heavy, thick snowflakes falling down to cover anything in the way, like the sleeping green-brown lawn, the bare trees, and all the dead flowers. 6. Nicolas Lapointe awakens to a normal day going to school, listening to his mother, amuses himself with his friend, and marvel at the wild lands beyond the city's walls. Then later in the day, his life changes suddenly after becoming closer to a boy named Julien Boucher.

  8. Firstly, he's been waiting for all of his life. He was already second in line when he was born, and first when his mother got crowned as Queen. Then, you do not have to be Prince of Wales in order to succeed the throne (his mother was never Princess of Wales). It is a simple honorary title that is not always required to be bestowed on each first-in-line to the throne (look it up on the Wiki, you'll see...). Finally, her mother lived to be 101.
  9. Wait... I just remember the civil list is funded by the taxpayers. Whoops... Anyways... I think the Commonwealth who has her as Queen should pay their part of the bill too, seeing that Prince William is also considered as a Canadian prince here as well. Why only the British should be paying for that? And I wouldn't mind giving a loonie for it.
  10. Probably* We don't know yet how it will be paid... C'mon... I have heard some time ago that the Queen is already preparing her civil list allotment to pay for such wedding as well as her silver jubilee. And this is coming from a woman who had to save up ration coupons to buy a wedding dress for her own wedding!
