I honestly stopped going to the theater shortly before covid, and for the exception of 2 films, I have never gotten back into it. That being said, AMC theaters used to have big pickles, but that was back in the 2010s and they were never Kool-Aid flavored. AMC changed a lot in the latter half of the 2010s and they started serving booze at the theaters in the DFW area. I went to AMC last year to see a one-night-only showing of the new Kamen Rider film with my bros. Yep, we are HUGE geeks. I don't remember even seeing pickles for sale that time. That being said, Texas is a huge state, and what they do in some of the more "Texan" regions wouldn't surprise me.

I don’t have proper words, Comsie was just an incredibly sweet person. He had passion for his stories, and he was extremely appreciative of anyone who read and commented on them. I talked with him casually on and off on his message board, and there were a few email exchanges over the years. I discovered Comsie’s writing about 20 years ago, and read his stuff off and on, and his stories are the sole reason I made my way to GA. I’m sad that I’ll never see the end of stories that I was following for years. I’m sad I’ll never see a new Comsie chapter posted that I can read and react to. I’m sad I’ll never get to exchange some banter about some new movie, or tv show, or cute guy, or whatever, with him. I can honestly say he changed my life, and helped me become more accepting of who I am at a very confusing time. RIP Comsie.

I was totally going to comment on this. Full disclosure, I don’t normally go after guys taller than me. Oh god, now that I’ve said it… @clochette, stop perving out.

Sounds like fun though. I’m honestly a little more tired than usual, which is partly why I’ve been a little absent the past week or so. My sleep schedule has gotten totally jacked up, and I’ve had multiple nights with very little sleep. I have sleep apnea, and the machine I have to help with problem has actually more problems, so I’ve just been exhausted for days.
