Chapter 7 "O'Brien to orbital, come in! Hello? Hello!" I heard the sound of Jim furiously hitting different consoles over the laboratory. He tripped once and swore loudly. In the meantime, I managed to stand up and groped blindly about until I found what appeared to be a wall. The lab was pitch black; I could see nothing, but I could feel. The ground was still shaking. "Anybody out there? Lisa? Donald? Dammit, anybody from the other stations!" Nobody answered. The tremors were dying down,

Thank you, Cannd! Your analysis gave me quite a lot to think about! Incidentally, though, the tank where the Furball was kept did not contain water, just a sample of the planet's atmosphere, pressurized. You don't need to worry about our little furry friend on that front!

Chapter 6 An insistent ringing noise brought me back to my senses. I felt weird; I tried to bring my hands up to rub my eyes but I discovered I couldn't. They were tied to something. My eyes snapped open. I was in the main lab, on my back apparently. The only thing I could see was the ceiling, but when I tried to move my head I discovered it was held fast too. My ankles were also restricted. I tried very hard not to panic, but I had no idea what was going on except for the fact that Jim had
  22. Hello everyone! My newest story, Shamrock Lite, is out today published by MLR Press. It's a lighthearted and slightly nostalgic homage of mine to the wonderful country of Ireland and its rich lore. You can find the link and blurb below! Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Shamrock-Lite-Albert-Nothlit-ebook/dp/B00UQF1R4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426636816&sr=8-1&keywords=shamrock+lite MLR Press http://www.mlrbooks.com/ShowBook.php?book=ANSHAMRK Shamrock Lite One lifetime of experience, and suddenly magic. Richard has come to Ireland to reflect on years gone by, not to become mixed up in the affairs of the fairy folk. The handsome stranger he meets will not be denied, however. He makes Richard young again- for a price.

Chapter 5 My pad beeped way too early. Groggy, I pawed around the room until I remembered that I had changed the position of my bed, so I was too far from the insistent source of the noise. I decided to wait it out, covering my ears with my hands until finally the beeping stopped. I had forgotten that I no longer had to get up early, since technically I had already been fired. Right. Jim was going to send me away, and yesterday that incident in the lab… I tried to go back to sleep but it was
