  1. Magically, I actually AM off on a Friday! The person below me loves the other people in this thread as much as I do. all around.
  2. Maybe. I plan on writing past midnight, so we'll see. The person below me has been gone from GA for too long.
  3. I can't say I have a lot of them which are particularly good. I already shared my favorite Halloween memory, and I believe it was sometime in this thread. I don't have too many memories from Thanksgiving or Christmas which I would consider "favorite". Those aren't days of the year I've ever been particularly inclined towards. But this next year I plan on exploring some of my pagan heritage and forging some strong new memories, especially if I can find a good, private place to light a bonfire. Then I'm going to be inviting all of my more adventurous friends for a naked bonfire ritual on Samhain. We'll see how that goes. What is your biggest irrational fear?
  4. Welcome. I haven't been around much, but I think you're the only two I haven't welcomed yet. I think you'll enjoy yourself here.
  5. Yes, the table is set, and we need only wait for a short while to find out who is coming to dinner. Ivan and Finn have been orchestrating this from the beginning, predicting every move. As for Jacob... Thank you for the review.
  6. And more will soon be revealed which should keep you wondering what is really going on in the world. I hope you continue to enjoy it. Thank you for the review.

    Episode 1: Enemies

Hopefully it was an adequate setup for the new season. A lot going on, and a lot promising to happen in the future. And yes, Nevala is definitely back. Thank you for the review.

    Episode 10: Pain

No... Jacob really isn't himself right now...
  9. Does a facepalm count? The person below me is a Trekkie.
  10. He tried to quicken his pace, but he felt like he was walking toward the end of everything. Max had grown very tired of saying goodbye to Finn and not going with him, but he knew that this time he had to. With Ivan gone, it was Max’s duty to stay behind, no matter how much Max wanted to climb into the aircraft with him. The country needed him, and that was all there was to it. He stepped through the door to the roof and found Finn waiting for him, taking a draw on a cigarette. Max hated
  11. Tristan was doing the best he could to slide his clothes onto his still damp body, but it was proving more difficult than he had anticipated. When Finn and Max had burst into the pool room and told the group that they needed to make haste back to the Capitol as quickly as possible, Tristan had lost his focus. He and Micah had been sneaking private moments whenever the others’ backs were turned, and he was both aroused and worried at the same time. Micah seemed to be less affected by the news
  12. There was a difference in his step. He was hiding something, or at least he was thinking about something that he didn’t want Finn to know about. As good as Ivan was at concealing his feelings, Finn was a master of reading other people, and there was no doubt when he was holding back. Of course, none of that gave him the right to address it while they were walking down the hallway. Ivan would broach the subject when he wanted to, and no sooner. It was Finn’s place to serve and obey regardless

    Episode 7: Teachers

Thank you a million for reading and reviewing. I loved writing the Micah and Finn section. I wasn't sure how those two would work together at first, but as soon as I got them in the same room it was like magic. The same with Max and Luke... I loved the way they played together in my head. Thanks again!

    Episode 6: Identity

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. I trust you weren't worried about Tristan, then? I hope you enjoyed chapter 5 as well. Thank you for the review.

    Episode 4 - Pardons

Ivan is a complicated man, to be sure. But, Finn and Max are good people, are they not? Surely there must be some trust in there. But they are definitely different. Two different forces caught up in the same whirlwind, but thrown to different sides. Is the alliance between the two worth it for those left over from the rebellion? We'll see. Thank you for the review.
  16. Ivan is complicated. That at least is certain. Honestly, I may have made a mistake here, but I'll have to wait until you reach Season 3 for me to find out. As for the fate of the Wer Alliance? Well, there's a lot to that, as well. I see you have decided to stay tuned. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as you're envisioning... then again... Thank you for the review.
  17. Or is it? This web is very intricate, and I've done my best to keep it that way. I really tried to open up the grander scheme in Season 2, and this is really where the dominoes start to fall. But, remember, nothing is ever entirely as it seems. Thank you for the review.
  18. It was the first time Luke had been in a car in nearly twenty years, and he had to admit that he was more than a little motion sick. Still the trip was short, and it pulled up to the curb and let them out for a breath of fresh air after only a few minutes. They could have walked the distance just as easily, but when Hayden had heard that there was the opportunity of taking a vehicle instead, he had jumped at the chance. As Luke recovered from his nausea, he looked at his husband and found hi
  19. I sent you a PM. Thanks for any help you can give.
  20. “So, tell me more about this Elven maiden you left behind on Avalon,” Peter said with a grin. He was starting to get comfortable and he could sense that Nurim was doing the same. He hoped that now that things had been settled between them that Nurim would start to open up. The door opened suddenly and Peter spun around to see the large guard entering before shutting the door quietly behind him. “What’s going on?” Peter asked as he stood and faced the guard. “There are enemies in the mans
  21. There was a fireplace in the room, and finally Tristan felt like he was at home. He had grown up around campfires, moving from place to place as he did with his brothers, and hadn’t realized how much he had missed the feeling of sleeping near a flame. Micah seemed to enjoy it just as much, though Tristan had realized some time ago that Micah was comfortable in nearly every setting, especially if they were together. Tristan pulled Micah close, their entwining his naked legs with those of his
  22. I wish I could say that it wasn't timely. This past week has brought my own mind back to this story as well, and especially to Chris. He'd never denounce his parents, which is what they require children of same-sex marriages to do now, and so he'd definitely leave the church now. And he'd be so upset at the bigotry, and the ignorance... I normally see my characters as ghosts, but recently Chris has been as alive as anyone ever has. This new policy would also make Gary leave the church. It's a sad, sad reality. Thank you for the review. I'm glad the story stuck with you, even if it was brought back to you by such unfortunate news. Interesting article, too. I've heard far too many stories like this over the past few days, and some of them I've known personally. The amount of exmormon gay friends I have became very apparent recently, as we all spoke up about this.

    Episode 1: Enemies

I hope you've read on by now to address some of your fears.
  25. Thank you for the compliments. I'm glad you found the description fitting, and that your imagination was able to fill in the framework. I'm also glad to see you understand why I included the darkness. I hope it helps you prepare for Season Two, which is already posting. There's more darkness ahead, but some nice moments too. Thank you for the review.
