It was hard to concentrate on teaching, knowing that the excavation in Egypt was still going on. Mostafa kept Mahmoud and me updated on the progress of the dig by sending us photos. That only increased our impatience, knowing what was going on at the dig and not being there. Mahmoud and I would call Mostafa upon receiving the photos, discussing the images over the phone. I'll try and give you the adventure you are seeking.

We left very early in the morning. It seemed like the sun followed us. As the sun rose, the sunbeam led us westward to the site. It took us 6 hours to go 250 kilometers. Traveling on the sand, we needed to move slowly. If we go too fast, the tires will get mired down in the sand. Then It would take a long time to dig out the tires. We arrived on the site about one o’clock in the afternoon. After a quick lunch, we set up the tents, unloaded the trucks, and laid out a checkerboard plan to be

Awww Shucks, Lately I have been writing short stories. I have one more story that I am editing that is more than 16 chapters. I have two short stories I am in the process of writing now. A couple ideas rambling around in my head, not sure if they will ever materialize. Yes, I will have the opportunity for the third shot. My normal flu shot isn't due until Feb. I believe the facility where I am is scheduling the third shot in October. I hope you are staying well and safe. Thanks for being a friend

Yes, Ephraim experienced being a street boy in order to live. He knew the horrors of living on the street. There will be no street boys in their town.

Summers, the house was full again, Efraim’s nephews and Karl Marco stayed with us. We did buy two horses, and Efraim fixed the buggy. Sunday afternoon, we would take the boys to the park. I was wondering how long before Efraim would want to adopt. Pastor Burry answered that question for us. He brought a young lad to us one evening. He was 14 years old, told his parents he was gay. His father tossed him out of the house. One of his ranch hands picked up the boy and brought him to Pastor Burry.
