This school has children from 6-7 th grade through high school. So a woman isn't unusual, head mistress, principal, superintendent etc are typical title in a public school. These positions are filled by women and men. So Arlene wasn't unusual, she took over when the President died, she was the senior director at that time.

I'm sure Arlene's cohorts will be packing as well. I wonder what happened in the meeting after Adam left. I can imagine a major blow up. 10 to 1. there will be a few Director vacancies. I could hear Arlene shouting, "Those stupid A-holes." The Music Director saying , "Here, Here." The Financial Director starting to sweat.

If I was in Arlene's shoes, I'd be cleaning out my desk. I'm not so sure about making it more difficult. He now has the authority to make changes, but he also has the loyalty of the teaching staff and his army. We shall march along side of him, giving him our encouragement

Yes for a Director that was his Salary. Remember hie first letter the salary they offered would be equivalent to what he would make if he stayed at his old university. The new salary opened his eyes because it was significant more. You have correctly calculated his annual salary. For this school, considering the student base, it probably is in the proper range to start with

Yes, definitely an F. It's my opinion they were so involved in their little schemes, they never looked at what was happening. They had big heads thinking they were so important, they didn't see beyond their nose or the piano falling own their head.

I have readers doing that now. I have been viewing comments on stories written several months ago. There are quite a few chapters to this story. But I'll try and give you longer chapters. But, there may be a short chapter now and then. Just so you know.
