Yes, it would be a better world. Unfortunately some people think of their children are to be dominated. Never works, sooner or later the child rebels and the parent loses. You would think the parent would be devastated when a child turns their back on them and walks away. But they aren't and look for the flaws in the child and not themselves. Sorry, pet peeve of mine

Yes, he graduated and had a personal tour. What lies ahead for Adam is a mystery but I think teaching will definiteyb be a part of it.

I would say you have spoken as a frustrated teacher. The problem isn't the students or teacher, it is the system. Classes are anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, teachers don't have enough time when classes contain 30 students. It's my opinion that classes should be 1 and 1/2 hours. That would mean school would be longer, costs would be higher and school taxes would be more. Those two situations would cause the population that supported that school to take up arms. But there are ways around that and still have longer class periods within a fixed time period. They just have to be clever.

By the second six-week period, it wasn’t secret anymore. Billy didn’t tell, the football guys, Jerry, Dan, and Emory told the squad. Absolutely, Adam has the full backing of his parents . Not many families would prepare a dinner for a footballer.

Adam get's his kicks from helping people. He was trained by his parents who helped him when he was younger

We met Monday through Thursday to work on his homework. The first 6 week test was coming up and he was getting nervous. “Jerry, just remember what we have been doing. You’ll do ok.” I went to see Mr. Cheston. “Six week test period is coming up and Jerry is getting nervous. I’d like to recommend that he takes his test in your office and be allowed as much time as necessary to finish it. If he’s rushed, he’ll fail the test. It is unfortunate but what you have written is the sad truth. Children and adults learn at different rates and one approach will always create a variance in a class. I think you will like this story.

That I could never understand. I'm thankful in my own situation I had the full support of my family. I'm sure Jerry would excel in his studies as well as playing football with his father's encouragement

Jerry knows that education is important and football will give him the money top attend college. I'm sure when Jerry graduates and begins his career, his dad will change his mind.
