Pete and Joey made a shack in the woods behind the chicken shed. It wasn't the same as the one on the farm but it was enough for Pete and Joey. Jim helped them and except for the outside, the inside was a copy of their old shack. Jim bought them bedrolls so they could sleep out there. According to Pete, the next project would be a platform in a tree. Whether Pete realized it or not, he was reliving the time with his grandfather. With a little urging, Jim agreed to a garden. No, I think in Pete's mind a lot old farms would look like grandpa's. Most farms are built the same way. if you saw a farm catalogue, you would see several similar. The photo was a reminder and as young people do, they fill in the blanks. Grqandpa's farm is gone and will not be able to be recovered. The boys couldn't live there alone and Jim wasn't going to move there,

I like chicken, roasted, fried, boiled, ground, and they lay eggs. A wonderful animal, easy to raise, don't make a fuss, and give back more than they demand. They also make a great pet. 😊

Before we could discuss that bit of news a little further, we were called back to chambers. I noticed that the man wasn’t there. Our Child Service’s lady was present.
