The boys developed a relationship with the owner of that family store. Now we were selling our chickens, butter, and eggs there. August, my mind turned to University issues. The boys have used their farm knowledge as a way to show Tony they appreciate his kindness toward them. Tony looks upon them as a brother, which they likewise look upon him as a brother. A family, not by birth, but by association, concern for each other and respect.

Yes, you are correct about the USDA. The chickens Tony sells are free range in that they do have a run, that is a screened in area, out doors, that they can use. There is an opening in the chicken shed that allows the chickens to freely move in and out of.

If there is a woman in Tony's life, Tony will find her, no one else needed to help. Not sure if she will know the significance of there ring. I think Tony spoke to his mom and she told him where to go. I think it is a rather large. They must have grown feed for the horses who pulled the carriage.

I think Tony is trying to be realistic. The chances of the boys getting a job in the area is probably fairly good if they are willing to travel.

I think Tony looks upon his mother's efforts as she wants him to be happy, I thin k. But do you know any woman who sees a single man and doesn't want him married. It seems like an unknown mental wiring that every man must be married and they ae in charge of making sure. A mental defect I'm sure😀
