    Chapter 25

Yes, I was surprised. I wonder if the blond hair had anything to do with it.

    Chapter 25

The boys developed a relationship with the owner of that family store. Now we were selling our chickens, butter, and eggs there. August, my mind turned to University issues. School will start with Freshman week, and then we would be on our fall schedule. Luis told me that he would be going to Italy to meet Camilla’s family. Uncle Angelo and Aunt Katy were going with him. That solves the problems with the language. I wished him good luck. Two weeks later, Uncle Angelo and Aunt Katy

    Chapter 24

The boys have used their farm knowledge as a way to show Tony they appreciate his kindness toward them. Tony looks upon them as a brother, which they likewise look upon him as a brother. A family, not by birth, but by association, concern for each other and respect.

    Chapter 24

That is a possibility. If it was up to the boys, there would be a few goats and not just one

Not by choice more by necessity

Yes, you are correct about the USDA. The chickens Tony sells are free range in that they do have a run, that is a screened in area, out doors, that they can use. There is an opening in the chicken shed that allows the chickens to freely move in and out of.

    Chapter 24

There was a farmer's market in the next county. They haven't looked into it since Charley mentioned the small independent store.

    Chapter 24

Yes, You sing very well. Is there a career in the works? Brad and Tom are enjoying themselves and seem to be grateful to Tony. I think they have adopted Tony as a brother and I know that Tony looks upon them as brothers as well

    Chapter 24

They set a limit of `100 chickens. It seems you always miss an egg or tow which ends up to be a peep or two. Chickens are prolific,

    Chapter 23

Yes, I'm not sure the goat will arrive. We need to wait and see.

    Chapter 24

I spent July on the farm. Working alongside the boys and Charlie, I learned a lot about running a farm. The freezers were delivered. The boys selected the chickens to be butchered, and they went at it. As the boys had done with the eggs, they started to sell the chicken. The first place they hit was the cafe and the family. Only the family got free chicken. “We should give the family live chickens. They can kill them and handle the waste.” When Gene came over to get a bottle of my

    Yes. Glad to have helped

    Chapter 23

If there is a woman in Tony's life, Tony will find her, no one else needed to help. Not sure if she will know the significance of there ring. She obviously saw the portrait on the wall behind the desk. Iff she made the connection, I don't know. Good luck on then jab. I get my second jab in three days.

    Chapter 23

Yes, the boys will do their best and they share in the profits.

    Chapter 23

Yes, Brad and Tom must be part salesmen. With the number of chickens, they need to sell those eggs.

    Chapter 23

I think they got the message, for now

    Chapter 23

At breakfast, “Tony, what do you think is a fair price for farm eggs?” “I haven’t the slightest idea. We don’t buy eggs anymore, so I don’t even know the price of a dozen eggs. Do you have orders for our eggs?” “Yes, the cafe said he would take 12 dozen a week.” “Can we deliver that amount and at what price?” “I checked at the market. They are selling eggs at a dollar nine-teen a dozen. The owner of the cafe is going to pay a dollar twenty if we don’t raise the price for a ye

    Chapter 22

Yes, the only fly in the boy's ointment, are their parents.

    Chapter 22

I hope they are profitable, for the boy's sake. They will need some sort of income

    Chapter 22

I think Tony spoke to his mom and she told him where to go. I think it is a rather large. They must have grown feed for the horses who pulled the carriage.

    Chapter 22

One female goat will provide enough milk for at least one cheese a week. Who knows the goatt they buy may be pregnant
  23. CLJobe

    Chapter 22

I think Tony is trying to be realistic. The chances of the boys getting a job in the area is probably fairly good if they are willing to travel.

    Chapter 20

My comment to drsawzall I'm sure will draw a reaction from my female readers,

    Chapter 20

I think Tony looks upon his mother's efforts as she wants him to be happy, I thin k. But do you know any woman who sees a single man and doesn't want him married. It seems like an unknown mental wiring that every man must be married and they ae in charge of making sure. A mental defect I'm sure😀
