I don't always read the chapter after i post. i noticed several errors in this chapter that i should have caught. i apologize for them.

You are right but it may take time before lighting can be established. Armand and Carl have been away from family for a while now. Maybe it's time to go home and return later.

You are a fountain of knowledge and I appreciate your comments and educating me on France and its history. Let's form a group and go to France for a few weeks. As you know of my health conditions we may have to do that in the next life. We can have Arnaud help us. Hope you aren't washed away by the flooding.

Arnaud is very happy but he is at the end-times. Just knowing that he will sleep under the painting is enough for him to look forward and not regret his life here in this realm/

I'm not sure if James is up to taking on another student. Language won't be a problem, the kitchen staff are fluent in French.

I don't know where you got that rocking chair but it is exactly like GG's. This story seems to grow. Now we have Chef Boy. What will the future hold for him? He needs to learn English, who will teach him? Life is complicated as Armand is finding out.

I believe that Roger knows what Charles did for a living, as a street prostitute. He thinks that Armand doesn't know this. What Roger doesn't know is that Armand is already familiar with street prostitutes, i.e. Carl before he was adopted. His concern for Armand is out of friendship

When I traveled, every big city had a child that needed help. My traveling was for business so I couldn't do what Armand did but I did make sure they had a good meal and some money for the next few days. New York City had the most young people, b oys and girls offering them selves for food.
