I suspect Armand and Colin have a lot of laughs together. Colin's taste for heavy lunches is causing weight gain.

No one should go to Italy and not see Pompe. History comes alive

i agree, Italy has a lot to offer. And the food, GREAT

This story is written for current time.

Life continues even when the noise levels rise. To me, it is a heavenly noise. Colin went on a diet, well for him it was a diet. He’d said his golf swing is off. I really didn’t care if he lost his weight, it had to be his decision. I told him I would support whatever decision he made. I did remind him that it meant just more of him to love. He decided he would lose some of his weight, but not all so I could have a little more of him to love. October our Italian family arrived with I beli

Yes, being tucked in is a little one-on-one deal. With so many children, tucking becomes personal.

I am glad I had eaten my dinner before opening this chapter for comments. I remember on a train ride from north Amsterdam to Paris, a couple at the table next to ours was eating some small bird. Perhaps you can shed light on this experiences.. I have eaten pigeon and some game birds. but this dish looked more like an appetiser.
-
I fully understand what you mean. I'll bet if you have attended a dinner with a large group, especially family, and the food was your favorite, you probably had to sit at the table a little longer. Family or group dinners are fun.

I always enjoyed family dinners. On the holiday the total clan met at my grandparent's home, the women pitched in, the men congregated in the wine cellar and my cousins and I were told to play outside. However, this may become a Sunday tradition.

It is unfortunate that we only have two things in common. stories and doctors.. Do you have Nurse practitioners in Canada? They work with a doctor but make house calls and can write prescriptions.

Arriving at the club, we needn’t tell anyone, they all knew. The boys looked sharp in their suits, and several of the ladies commented on how they looked. Uncle Jimmy had a new drink for them in celebration. For once my total family was together, even Uncle Henry and Aunt Ann. “Sons, take your drinks and follow me.” I took them to the old roof garden. Sitting there my mind was flooded with memories. I know I had tears in my eyes. “This place is very special and the roof garden at home wil

Thanks Anton. You have summarise several chapters in one posting. Great Job.
-
What didn't you understand about Anton's comment? All activities that occur in a courtroom are recorded and kept on file. So this judge's remarks concerning gay people have been recorded. The judge, who suppose to be fair and his decision is based on the facts. He cannot substitute his personal feelings into the case he is involved with as a judge.
-
I have no sympathy for someone who hurts a child. This judge, even if he thought he was protecting the child, needs to resign. We need judges who have compassion, not vengeance based on their feelings. Unless I hit a homer, we are not in the seventh inning yet. Close, maybe the top of the 6th.
-
You are right this will haunt the judge. It wouldn't surprise me if he resigned. I'm not sure if Colin has the temperament to cause a courthouse upset.
-
Thanks. Yes, the judge made his position quite clear. I would expect to see him resign. Currently, we have an individual who is like the judge, now the American people need to step up.
-
There are many people in key positions in our society who are like the judge. They sympathize with the judge and feel he should have stood his ground. If he had his way, 6 children would be without a family.
-
Even though there is a lot of negativity in this world, sometimes we find good. Let's hope it is clear sailing when they meet the judged.

Friday morning was a rush. I went and picked up Pat, she would mind our home while we were adopting the boys. Returning home, the boys were ready for breakfast. Marie was at the griddle making crepes and I was making scrambled eggs. I put the bacon in the oven before I started on the eggs, so between stirring the eggs I had to keep an eye on the oven. When we bought this stove, Maria insisted we buy one with an oven in the bottom section and a small oven in the top section as well as a six-burne

Thanks. All six boys are having a great time at the club. Leave it to the boys to bring up fishing to Colin. Wit till they go golfing. With all of the boys they should have three or four foursomes

Absolutely. I can vision Grandmother with tears in her eyes and old grumpy Grandfather didn't know how to react. Man doesn't getemotional, so he hides his feelings by mentioning his gardening.

Life moves on but something never changes. One of those things is the relationship between James and Armand. From the beginning, they referred to each other as brothers. I think they actually believe they are brothers. Armand has a lot of respect for James.

i am glad you enjoyed it. I wondered what kind of vanilla ice cream Peter had at his previous place that turned him off to vanilla. Jimmy's vanilla changed that.

I am not sure Andy doesn't want to be adopted but more in case he feels more comfortable a the Home. Some people want to know the alternatives. I think Andy was concerned about where he would go if he wasn't adopteded. perhaps he was afraid he would be put on the street.
