I don't think Pat has to worry about financials. We will see what they name the new place when they return from their vacation. If it is like most times, the first name is not the one picked.

They have more than a week left of their three week stay in Paris.

Until my first time in Paris I hadn't made the connection between the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island. Ivan needs time to grieve. Being on vacation in Europe will be a diversion for him from his grief and at the same time to begin enjoying a new family. Ivan may not think he is an equal but the boys considered him a brother. That will help.

Colin and Armand will adopt Ivan as soon as they get back from Europe. Yes, French is crepes but Armand's father has never been out of the US, therefore he has pancakes. Breakfast in European hotels are general buffets. I only stayed in one hotel in Italy that took orders for breakfast, albeit it it was a short menu.

I believe they are favoring taxi's for the parents. They could never keep up with Colin, Armand and the boys.

Ivan seems to warm up to being a brother, thanks to the other boys.

We woke late as compared with when we where home. I guess we were more tired than we thought. The boys didn’t want to get up until, “Colin, I guess we won’t go to the Eiffel Tower today. The boys need their sleep.” “Dad, we’re awake.” Laughing, “Take a shower, get dressed and then we will go and get breakfast.” “I’m going to check to see if our parents are up.” “I’ll stay here in case the boys need help.” When the boys where dressed and ready to go, we went to meet Colin

When they got home, specifically the new orphanage. It will be completed, ready to move in.

Boys were doing well in school, James’s friend was in a better mind when he found out he didn’t have to leave the orphanage when he was 18. Pat knowing that they were moving, made some rule changes of which that was one. The City Council cut her monthly stipend reflecting one less child, she didn’t care. I told her if she was running short to let Colin or I know. Between James and Marcel, there was always something special as well as a few cases of vegetables or juices that would be delivered. I

If Colin and Armand have their way, these four boys will have smiles. They won't forget their parents, family but Colin and Armand will help them, not to forget, but to understand.

Death is hard to handle and I used GG to help him to accept his lost. I think Grandfather knew he was dying and it bothered him until Colin stepped in with the trailer park. He knew that Ivan would be looked after,

I went about with a smile on my face. James wanted to know why, I told him I have a secret and one of these days I’d tell him. We took the boys shopping, new suits for our trip, Ivan was surprised that I included him in our trip. I had spoken to his grandfather who indicated that he would like to go home while we were away on our trip. That is the only way Colin thought to resolve the problem. Taking it out of the city, removes it from city politics.

The new building will belong to Colin and Armand. Pat will rent the building from them, the county will pay the rent. The City will no longer be involved.The State will pay Pat directly. Pat will increase her staff.

You have no idea of how Pat will react. I think she will look upon Colin and Armand as saints. What a relief she must feel. Now Colin and the lawyers must delay the City from taking over the orphanage until the new place is ready.

I was the oldest in my family but the youngest in the total family, uncles and aunts, I remember the first time my grandmother took me to buy a pair of pants, until then I was given the family hand-me-downs. This was in the 1940's and early 1950's
