The city owns the land and the building that houses the orphanage. If I had to find a new place, it seems the city isn't concerned, I make sure that the courts would give me time needed.

Yes, I have been eating them for over 75 years. I even have trained my grandchildren how to make them. The best part, dipped in Chocolate for a special treat.

I always knew that decisions were made by government without taking in account the effects on the least of the citizens. Decisions for the benefit of the majority always lead to the disenfranchised paying.

The boys were a little slow in the morning. I would have let them stay at home but they missed two days, with Halloween. James brought us some rolls and he had warm milk with maple syrup for the boys. He made that at the orphanage and all of the kids really liked it. Carmella was at the breakfast table and the boys had to have a hug from her before sitting down for breakfast. I hugged the boys as they left for school. I went back to my painting. Marcel has been in America for some time so he would be familiar with Thanksgiving. James coming from the orphanage probably isn't much help. I don't think there is a chef or cook in the world who wouldn't know how to cook a Turkey, Maybe not roasted as the Americans do, but it is meat and it will cooked as meat.

I knew when Carmella went with James and Marcel, she would cook at least one meal. Now the cooks know how to make spaghetti, that would be on the menu often.

That night I didn’t sleep well. I dreamt that I went around the city picking up abandon children. I woke up, at first I wasn’t sure where I was. Then I became aware I was home in my bed.
