Thank you, Bre. Who wouldn't be okay with those two studs trying to take care of him.

Thank you, Straycat. John does not get rattled under pressure, even with something like this happening. He methodically handles the situation and does his best to take care of his people. From my profile, if you click albums, you can see the pumpkins. Halloween full moons are the best.

Thank you, Straycat. I think this is still my favorite chapter in this book. At minimum, it's in the top five.

Thank you, Straycat. An emotional response like that is the best compliment I can receive. It's actually fun writing a villain I don't like.

You know I'm always ready for more. I live for the moments I can say simplify or mention something else you taught me. For Nelson's small part in the series, he's still an important character. With his position, he likely possesses dark secrets on many of the members or their guests. If there's one person in DC to not piss off, it's him.

CJ's growing up and learning self-control when dealing with people. A masterful smack-down of Rubio and his diplomatic skills were on display with Pam, sort of. lol. A fun and wonderful chapter.

They wouldn't mind at all

I'm not sure what I was thinking, Ethan should have been inhaling deep instead of laughing. As I writer, I enjoy when someone picks up the smaller actions like this. Plus it feeds my character's kinkier natures. Ethan is a package deal with Aiden, so as long as you can handle both of them, it's all good.

I suppose, but I think those guys might be a little more exhibitionist for that much covering.

I figured a large, open gang-shower at a truck stop or someplace similar.

Thank you, Astone. There are nice cylindrical objects that are much more satisfying than a cigarette, and healthier too. Your husband can explain that option to you. I think that's a fear for many regardless of the environment they live. Rural seems like it happens more, yet even on an urban street lined with pride flags, a fist to the face is still a risk. Sadly Mt. Lassen doesn't have a open tube at the top to thrown in sacrifices. Hey, after the last chapter's comment, all three did take a shower.

LMAO. I guess they need to shower.

Thank you, AlphaAngelo. There's few things more complimentary to me than a strong emotional response to my writing.

The poisoning and manipulation was having a major affect on Dorian, but behind that was also his own sense he was doing what was best for everyone regardless if they liked him or not.

I enjoy when readers question things. It makes sharing these books even more fun for me. In earlier books I would have likely put something in that addressed things you brought up. But my teacher, @Carlos Hazdayhas impressed on me, and I've happily listened, pay attention to point of view. Trevor is the main focus, so what's written us supposed to be things he knows, hears, or actually sees. As I'd go through a section to get ready to send to Carlos for his first review, I'd read over things other characters did. Was that smile within Trevor's view, could he hear that growl. Cassidy might have full access to her parent's home, but even though she detests the very existence of her brother, she's never done anything that we know of. Outing someone, wishing them dead, completely shattering another's life in public may or may not be that far a step from anything violent. In one draft I played around with, before settling on what became this story, Randy and Skyler were merely straight friends and after what Cassy did at the fireworks, Trevor asked Seth out on a date. I never got that to work out, so that idea died. I did have fun with the attempt as Trevor kissed Seth for the first time in front of his sister.

Thank you, Ang3l. I was determined to keep Trevor straight. He was going to have a summer fling with Cassy and likely a few other women in town, but... I think I was up to the chapter at the lake and had been stuck there for months. I tried not to turn every main character I've had gay or bi. In The Alpha, Dorian was primarily straight, but had no issue getting a blowjob from or taking the ass of his best friend. In that case, it was just easy access with someone he thought was a friend for his entire life. As a joke, I moved Trevor more to the middle of the road and was able to easily finish this book. I decided to stick with as the alternative was to scrap this book altogether. Still, I did want him to remain how he was always known, the playboy of the trio.

Thank you, Centex. I kept thinking, you're usually early to see updates, so hoped everything was okay. I'm glad it was just travel. Cassidy, followed by what happened to Seth did overshadow Trevor and Randy waking up in bed together. I kind of imagined them, and almost included it in the text, stealing glances throughout the different events on the 4th. Along the lines of, yeah the women are along with us, but I bet we could have a blast by yourselves. As another reader pointed out, it's not just a small town attitude, though with a smaller population it might be more noticeable. Trevor didn't even realize how close his wolf was to the surface, but his eyes continuing to flash should have alerted him. It might have if he wasn't so pissed and offended by Cassidy's vile outburst.

Sadly true, Al. Both sets of grandparents have nothing to do with me and the ones who helped raise me said I'm dead as far as their concerned.

Hugz to you, Al. It's about the same as a 16 year old getting thrown out when his supposedly gay-supporting parents found out their only son was gay. Trevor's comment about small town attitudes was misplaced since it can be just as prevalent in urban and suburban environments as in rural settings. Grinding your teeth is bad and won't get me to post the next chapter any sooner

I always enjoy your comments, Gee. Randy hesitated for only a moment, but obviously felt it was worth the risk. Seth had just been publicly outed and I doubt he'd do that to someone else, especially a person who showed up to help him. It would be fun seeing the people who did that to Seth face him down again, with Trevor, Skyler, and Randy backing him up. Trevor wouldn't know the scent since he's not around everyone. The others who showed up to help might not have been around that lycan.

Thank you, Chris. Even if Trevor didn't love is friends as much as he does, he's still stand up to defend a stranger like that. The world needs more Trevors.

Thank you, Albert. She did get a very public verbal slap, not that it had much affect on her that night beyond the knowledge the hot guy with the nice dick wasn't going to give it to her anymore. Having gone through a variation of what she did, I still don't understand how a family member can do that.

Thank you, Raven. In all likelihood, Seth was flirting whether he realized it or not, but Trevor wasn't doing anything to end the handshake, so it's not on Seth if he was. Randy did what he thought was the best way to put Seth at ease. Between the kiss and saying he's a cocksucker should have done a decent job.

Thank you, Miked. I can't say I'm too fond of homophobic people either. You're not grandstanding.

Thank you, Clancy. All we know from Trevor's point of view is that Seth ran from his sister's verbal attack. He could have run home, his father could have caught him outside the school's football field, or other possibilities might have taken place. There likely wasn't any reason to call the police that night. Cassidy lives in her own apartment, where Trevor screwed her multiple times before the fireworks, so Seth wouldn't have to worry about her in her parent's house. I'm not sure they'd let him in the door after what she said to her brother. I'd at least hope they'd keep her away. I've mentioned this on previous comments that Seth was not bit. It could have been kind of fun for me if he had been. Cute twink goes into hiding for a little bit and shows back up in town considerable stronger and able to beat the crap out of his former attackers. Burney is a town of about 3000 people. If the family had never had any issue with the police, why would they know who the parents are? Was Seth even missing? It doesn't take long to assault someone. He had been leaving the house since he'd heard people calling him a fag before he was grabbed.
