O positive is the most common blood type and O negative is considered a universal donor type since it can be used with anyone regardless of type. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked. With a shifter, human blood could likely be used in an emergency. I would guess there could be some side effects similar to when a human is turned. Lycanthropy present in the wolf's blood would have to make changes to the human blood for it to be fully integrated. If Covid was present in the timeline of the story, odds are Thad would have died. This book takes place a couple months after most things shut down. Though given the part of California this takes place in, I'm not sure how much actually closed. Would I slip in a nice, soothing chapter and then let all hell break loose? 😇

Thank you, Straycat. I'm happy my husband and Carlos both talked me into writing about my time in Australia. This book turned out better than I first expected and was well received by the readers. It is demanding and exhausting work, but someone's gotta do it. Brandon was fun to write since he's closer to being me than Ethan. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite between the two. Brandon's attitude towards Ethan was based on what he knew of the Elementals. The fact they came off like media whores didn't help them around those who didn't personally know the pair. Sometimes you just get tired of hearing about celebrities. Fetish parties can be a lot of fun.

Pretty much anything to be seen during this time in Oz would make anyone sad. The Wonder Twins had to make an appearance of some type for me not to make this a complete standalone story.

Thank you, Straycat. It would have to really suck when you're already sad about something, like the death of your friend, and your mood makes it rain on just you.

As I push my boundaries, I learn more about this type of writing. My comfort level increases and hopefully my skill improves. Unlike writing larger stories where the canvas I paint on is vast, there is a beauty in writing poetry and telling a story or drawing an images in a few words.

I'll admit, my eyes locked onto those first nine words and I thought, "what did I do this time." lol. I agree there aren't enough of them and I'm trying to create more. I like this genre and I'm attached to my characters. Thank you for the wonderful compliments. And I do like when someone begs.

Brandon's experience is definitely atypical for a wolf. As a born wolf who was abandon at birth, his experience was very negative until he reached his current pack. He could talk about his current life, but most of early years in fur would be irrelevant. Since the general view of packs is don't tell the humans, there are exceptions as some do work with and for packs, actually offering to turn one is rarer still. Care would be taken to try and only make that offer when you're relatively sure it would be accepted. Finding one of those people who was offered and declined would be more difficult that finding a politician speaking the truth.

Comments are always fun, but occasionally they take an extra amusing turn. If Ethan had been cut before meeting Aiden, when he had his first shift he'd have gotten his foreskin back as his body reverted to human. Any scars he had not related to silver would have been repaired. I know a few guys who'd prefer that method instead of the gadgets they bought to try and restore what they lost.

Thank you, Frosen. They needed some time around Trevor, so I had to bring them in. As far as being remote alphas, the territory itself is large, so the pack rarely gathers as one unified group. Satellite meetings take place when they have their weekly pack meetings and things like Zoom are used to bring everyone together. It lets Aiden and Ethan operate from Pennsylvania. Still, Trevor felt they were slacking and made his feelings known.
