Thank you as always, Centex. She's what Trevor needed after the Shannon fiasco. Nothing serious, just companionship, fun, and someone comfortable to slip into occasionally. The trio of betas get along exceptionally well. They're all comfortable in themselves and with each other.

If they did, odds are Shannon would immediately suggest a three-way.

Do I need to revise future chapters so you don't do anything to break your phone?

Thank you, Backwoods. It's a cool little town and relaxing. Someplace you're characters would easily fit in to. Only time will tell with Cassidy. No running into or over Shannon at the grocery store. lol

I like when my writing can be educational. Trevor's not one to boast. He just met this woman, they're flirting and exchanging numbers, he would see no reason to mention Harvard. Now, did he run into her, or did she run into him.

Thanks, Astone. Trevor's one of those people who attracts attention without trying. His good looks cause people to notice him. The laid back attitude and his comfort and acceptance of everyone for who they are adds to it. Throw in some lycan pheromones and he's practically irresistible.

Thank you, scrubber. Maybe too early to call her a girlfriend, but he found a friend with benefits.

Thank you again, Albert. It was bound to happen.

    Respect

Thank you, Albert. Sometimes when things are too close to home, it's easy to overlook the obvious.

    Triumph

I greatly appreciate it, Albert. The Lassen beta and enforcer did try to let the two know what shouldn't be done at the funeral, but since they were younger than Dorian was when he took over and significantly less experienced, they didn't listen. Add that to what Levi told Dorian and it was a recipe for disaster.

    Tease

Thank you, Albert. Since he's likely a power bottom, of course he's going to make a power grab. They're all about holding on tight to what they want.

    I Accept

Thank you, Albert. Dorian does have a point. He never considered it, and Marshal wisely didn't volunteer the information about the business side of taking over. At least he can joke about it while growling.

The sun was beginning to fade behind the western mountains as Trevor grabbed his keys and headed out the door. Life felt so relaxed compared to Boston. Even a simple drive to run errands was a pleasure as there was no traffic to cause him to grind his teeth in frustration. It was but a moment’s wait at the stoplight before he was able to turn. There was no hunting for a parking spot either since they were plentiful. For all the perks a big city had, he loved small-town life. Trevor pushed h

    So Say We All

Thank you, Albert. Considering how we met Dorian, he's quite likable at this point and should make a good alpha.

Thank you, Albert. Nothing would have pulled him away from tending to the man he cared for so much.

    Dark Days

Mmmm. Furry ass. Oh, sorry, my mind was wandering. I'll avoid while not avoiding the comments I could make about Dorian blasting off early. He's always had an anger issue, but through his work and people like Alpha Wagner, he learned how to channel it into something useful. He learned from his mentor to focus on the greater good, which earned him his place as a junior advisor to the alpha by the age of about 25. That control over his temper still has it's limits, and when his surrogate father dies, don't mess with him.

When I picked the area to write about in The Alpha, I'd seen a picture of Burney Falls and decided that was going to be the home of Dorian's pack. It got put on the list of places I wanted to see with my husband, but doubted we'd make it. The Dixie fire sent me all over what would have been the Pit River Pack, at least south of Burney. There are hard feelings towards the state capitol over the prospect of closing a state prison in the area since it's the major employer. It also has one of the fire training camps for prisoners. The worst part of fighting the fire in that area was the people or small groups who thought us firefighters were there to spy on them or take their guns, then after shooting at us to stay away, threaten us for not providing enough fire protection when their homes burn down. No win all around.

I'd seen things in the news about the counties up north, but didn't give it much thought until I actually saw the signs and billboards. Sacramento will never agree to give up that territory. That's also the same area where a recent article mentioned the lone gay bar left in Redding had to close due to a combination of factors including the pandemic, plus religious and political harassment.
