Dorian is one of those people to reacts to what he sees. There was a threat to someone and he acted, regardless of who that wolf was. At least Dorian and his buddies were willing to help keep Levi from being able to say anything to get into trouble.

Thank you, Astone. Sometimes life gets in the way of just sitting back and enjoying a good book. I'm way behind on reading your books, which are quite good. Dorian was a fun character to dive into. Like Chris in the previous book, he served his purpose when originally used and I never intended to return to him. I'm happy I did though.

Thank you so much, Rkench. I had a blast writing Trevor and Brandon together. The pair flowed well for me. I agree, the post-Embers Brandon is more relaxed and having fun with his life. As you said, Trevor was always the spare. As much as I tried to include him, he was the character that didn't play well in my imagination so he kept getting sidelined. I like the character so I kept trying to include him, but I just didn't know what to do with him. As one of the early cast, I was determined to finally bring him to life the way he deserved. I had fun once he began talking to me.

Thank you for reading and your comments. It's taken years to chip away at my mental walls, sometimes feeling like I'm using a spoon to get through them. My husband, before he held that title, took a wrecking ball to them any chance he got.
