The late October Santa Ana’s blow warm on my face
As the last bit of summer heat holds on with its tight grip.
The sun warmed sand is almost too hot for bare feet
Causing wetsuit clad bodies to rush towards the surf.
As if to apologies for the relentless heat when it should be cool,
Mother Nature has gifted her worshipers with beautiful waves.
My brothers and sisters of the water rejoice,
As we paddle our boards out through the crashing surf.

The walls I’ve built were strong and thick;
To withstand even the strongest barrage.
The cracks you’ve caused, grow wider each day,
Letting the sun reach a long closed off place.
With a Marine warrior’s skill;
You laid siege to my heart.
Digging in for the long hard battle,
You focused on the goal of victory.
You’ve sparked a flame
I thought had been lost.
As it continues to grow each day,
This flame could easily consume it
1.
Candles flicker
Blindfold blocks
Ropes binding
Wristcuffs locked
Gag secured
Floggers waiting
Wand electrified
Paddle? debating
Submissive ready
Words unspoken
Collar accepted
Bond unbroken

I see you gently test your bonds,
To make sure they’re quite secure.
Sitting back, I watch as your body relaxes,
As it awaits what you’ve chosen to endure.
I stalk towards my prey like a beast
Thank you once again, Backwoods This was the easiest chapter to write in the group since it has a lot of happier thoughts attached to it and because there is a lasting friendship that came from it.
Thanks for this, Backwoods. It's taken a lot of work and time to move past some of this stuff. This was a difficult chapter to write and I know difficult for people to read.
I'm actually happy that this look into that time of my life wasn't deleted. I was underage (between 18 and 20) working in a club with a fake ID at the time. Trying to put on a smile, flirting with the crowd, acting happy when all I wanted to do was find a dark corner and cry about how lonely I felt while tips were being stuffed into my underwear. I wish something that had seen the poem at the time would have recognized it for what it was.
Thank you as always Parker. It was fun for me trying to put this experience into words. I'm around foals every year, but this mini horse being born is something special.
