I almost didn't. I've had this one written for a while. Kept pulling it out, looking at it and closing the file. Sat with the finger over the cancel button for about 5 minutes before I actually hit save. Hugz to you tim.

I stood in the deepest shadows at the mouth of the alley and looked to where the dim outer ring of light from the nearby street lamp cast its illumination onto the cracked and broken sidewalk. Thank you Jay Thank you so much Avid All of this book came out of one scene in RWTP where Chris abandons Michael. That was a last minute edition before I posted that chapter, but it gave the spark of change that spurred this. It was fun turning around a character that was just meant to fill a short role and never be heard from again. Thank you Lux for all the support I had thought about extending it since I've been having fun with this, but decided to stick with the original scale. Going where my inspiration takes me is the only way I seem to write. If Aiden and Ethan would decide to get off their tropical honeymoon and talk to me, I'd give them another book

Thank you Tad Thank you JayT for all your support. I only kept you waiting since I always get writers block during the winter (when I have the most free time to write), that and I'm just evil that way Thank you as always Centex. This was actually the easiest book I've written. The completed first draft took 4 days and from that point it was just filling in the blanks. Granted, the word count more than doubled from the first draft to the completed, but it still felt easy and never forced. I think that's the reason I was able to put out three chapters a week. Writing dialog between characters sometimes is harder for me.

Thanks Acid It was there just to monitor his location and that he abides by the conditions of where he could go. While he felt the side effect was a justifiable part of his punishment, no one else did. Thank you Freerider

Journal entry 28: It’s been a couple months since I last wrote in here. I still meet with my therapist weekly, and we’ve discussed dropping it to biweekly or even monthly which is a good sign. Since meeting Rory, I hadn’t felt the need to write before my sessions. I feel surer of myself and I’m more comfortable talking openly to her no matter the subject. If Rory’s in town, he’ll occasionally go with me if I ask him to. He remains quiet at my side, holding my hand for the most part.

This was a great intro into this story. Kind of makes me want to backhand both Richard and Nicolas for letting their feud go on for over 100 years, especially with the repeated loss of life. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Thanks Jay Guess this means I hit the mark I was trying for. Thanks you Blind It's fun to me seeing my readers pick up something I tried to be subtle about. Rory is the more self assured of the two while Chris is still coming into his own. Chris's submissiveness to Rory just seems natural, at least for now but maybe always As far as romantic, at least I can write romantic LOL. Thank you Gee This had me smiling big time. Yeah, the big tough enforcer is the biggest softie of them all. As far as their sexy times and the first mating, I'd thought about that. I couldn't decide if it would be as humans in bed, wolves in the forest or a combination, but no matter where and which form, I'm sure it would be hot.

Journal entry 27: The last couple of days have been enjoyable. More so than I ever thought possible. On Tuesday, Rory and I did a date night with dinner and a movie. Thanks as always JayT I had thought about putting Kyle and Corey together and hadn't gotten around to it, at least not until Saturday. After you looked disappointed that Chris didn't end up with Kyle I went back and added him with Corey. It fixed something that seemed to be missing to me and made it even more fun for me to write.

Thank you Tazzle Thank you for the wonderful compliments as always Centex It as fun shifting Chris' interest from Becca to Rory, but being a twin, she would factor in and be close to her brother (I know not always). Since they already knew his past as you put it, they had time to digest it as well as hear the other opinions of their father. While Rory could have rejected Chris and decide he wanted nothing to do with someone that has a past like Chris, he's the type of person willing to get to know the person, not just the reputation. Thank you Mike Thank you CG I did try to write one version of this chapter with Rory rejecting Chris just to see how it worked, but it didn't feel right to do it.
