Journal entry 26: It felt like 11:30 would never arrive. I nervously checked the time on my phone for the tenth time. Or was it the twentieth time? This had me in tears by the end and that's something that isn't easy to do. To say it is powerfully written is an understatement. I can understand the strong emotions that come around for you every year. A particular day in September has a similar effect on me still. I'm just going to say "Strong wolf Hugz to you" and leave it at that.

Thank you Jeffrey Thanks Mike Chris is kind of worried about doing anything that is similar to his old life. Asking for favors or special treatment is something he can't bring him self to do Thanks Avid. He was so short lived in the first book that I never gave him a description. I kind of picture him as about 6'2", sandy brown hair, around 190# and with a trim but muscular build. He was a football player in high school. Not as bulky as a linebacker. Thanks Lux. Well see what tomorrow's chapter hold His parent want to rebuild a relationship with him. They know they screwed up and that Chris screwed up. Seeing the way he's changed, they really want to get to know the son they could have had. Thank you LadyDe. I considered writing a joke chapter especially for you with the squirrel shifting into someone and them having the entire mate discussion Or Chris shifting into a wolf and biting the squirrel/mate for all the pine cones it threw at him.

Journal entry 24: I was out with Mom and Dad showing them around town when I picked up that same scent of fresh pine needles again. I mentioned to my parents I wished I could figure out which tree it came from. They couldn’t smell anything out of the ordinary. They admitted the trees smelled much different from back east but were all nice. I walked us in the direction my nose indicated the scent was coming from. Journal entry 23: I made it to Thanksgiving break at school and now have the week off. I’ve completed the three term projects ahead of schedule for the classes that require them. I’m holding off turning them in until after the break, so I can polish them a little more. I hope to have each one as good as possible since they are a major portion of my grade in those classes, and I want to do well. What is it with the trees around here that is so different from back east? Just today

Journal entry 21: My emotions are running a little high today. No, that doesn’t quite cover it. They’re a complete and total mess. As a result, Kyle and Corey won’t let me out of their sight; not that I’m complaining. Alpha Jennings called me in and let me know Michael had been captured.
