I am reminded of Thomas Edison's early experiments with electricity, and how he fumbled in the dark, literally, as he learned. His feel for electricity - what it was, what it could be made to do - increased as he experimented, and his insights multiplied. We all know what came later. His initial experiments with electricity, at that time a scarcely understood force, eventually yielded nearly 1100 patents in the field. He became a master at his particular magick, as it were.
Jamie is, I hope, going to suddenly find the darkness waning, and a new and wonderful light ahead of his explorations.
