I totally love your stories. I've read them all and have completely enjoyed reading them again. If there's ever a chance to have a sequel or continuation of "Birds Don't Sing Before a Storm," I would truly be your happiest reader of all time!

Thank God! I would really hate annoying you! I promise some drama a couple chapters from now

Kinda yeah. I write, direct, and produce musicals in my "real" world. It's what I know best so I'm leaning in that direction. And the name of the chapter is from the fact that that particular song is important in this next chapter. BTW, the next chapter is called "First Date"... that's also the name of a musical, but hey. LOL

Billy and I got out of the car, and it just dawned on me. What the fuck do I do now? Do I knock? Ring the doorbell? Just walk in? Shit! Yay Billy! He moved ahead of me and just walked in. “We’re here!” “In my room!” “Let’s go. I’m so psyched to do this song!” He leaned into me and lowered his voice, “Even more psyched to do it with you—and Noah, of course.” Oh. My. Fucking. God. He took my hand and led me into the bedroom. Noah was at his desk and doing something

The Pool Boy and the Cowboy
FlyOnTheWall posted new chapter in The Barnstable Chronicles: Vic Greenley Comes Home
Vic wrapped his arms around the adorable boy in his hot tub. Perry nuzzled his neck and kissed, nipped, and sucked—but not hard enough to leave a mark. “God, Perry! You’re so fucking hot!” Vic picked the boy up and turned around, setting him on the edge of the hot tub. Vic knelt into the water and took Perry’s six-inches into his hand, pulling it out from his abs. He swirled his tongue around the head, causing Perry to throw his head back and spread his legs apart. Vic lowered his- 10 comments

The first night in my new home was definitely different. I still had a buzz on from Noah’s pot—and I couldn’t get the image of my new foster brother blasting his nut in the shower we shared. So yeah, I’m trying to fall asleep in the most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in, and my mind is racing a million miles an hour. I’m totally cool with sharing a little weed and getting a buzz on with Noah. I’m totally cool with sitting on the floor and talking about shit with him, but sharing a show

Coming Home, Finding Home

They do move fast... Mainly because they're not yet men. They're just boys! They only think with the head dangling down below! -

Oh... It's gonna be a blast. It's something a teacher would do in my high school English classes! Pissed us off, too. -

FlyOnTheWall posted new chapter in The Barnstable Chronicles: Vic Greenley Comes Home
Vic and his parents arrived home late Sunday night. Vic and Sam moved his things downstairs to the basement apartment. Vic decided to leave everything in the living room but pulled one of the suitcases into his bedroom, so he would be able to get something to wear to his first day as a teacher and coach at Barnstable High School. The next thing he knew, Claire was calling down from the kitchen for him to wake up. She had fixed breakfast. He hopped in the shower and cleaned himself, comp- 15 comments

Thank you so much, flesco! I'm so glad you found the first book of the Chronicles. I think you will be happy to know that Charlie's story is next and that will be followed by Vic's.

Wow! That story was "Johnny Breeze and Me." It was my first story here. I had to remove from GA because it's now Kindle Book. Yay!! I'll probably bring it back next time I have a writer' block. LOL

After Noah and I loaded up the SUV (sadly, in just one trip) with my stuff, we went back into the living room to wait for David and Andrew to finish in the office. We were sitting in chairs that were next to each other when Noah leaned into me. “You okay, Nick? Looks like you have a lot on your mind.” “Oh. I’m just thinking about shit. You know—all the places a foster kid’s brain goes when things look like they’re working out.” “What do you mean?” “Okay, don’t get me w

Journal Entry – 12/16/2012 Holy mother-fucking shit! Yeah, making love to Andy was just about the most incredible thing I’ve ever experienced in my short life! I think my boy was possessed by some ancient Greek sex god when he asked me to keep going when I came—the first time! I think I’m pretty much the luckiest boy in the world. We just got back from our three-hour session at the aquatic center. There is a lot to get used to, besides the whole thing being outdoors. I love that they d- 17 comments

Okay, okay... I am completely aware that the fostering thing happened awfully fast. I knew that when I wrote it. It will be addressed in the second chapter... as I had originally planned. I will be addressing the "LBGT adoption in Texas" thing in a future chapter. There will also be quite a bit about David and Andrew's relationship and its history... including how Noah came about. And while Noah and Nick might seem destined to be together, those of you who know my stories and characters won't be surprised to know that IF (and I do mean IF) I decide to bring them together, it won't happen without several bumps, curveballs, and perhaps more than a touch of drama. I'm thrilled with the response and I promise there will be a continuation... and an ending... to this story!

Should I link to the different songs/shows I mention? Would that be good or just something that gets in the way of the story?

Thanks for the comments, tinytoes! I live in Austin and plan to til my dying breath. I decided to use Austin as the location for my story because I never realized how big a pain it was to google every damned restaurant, town, road, shop in Barnstable, Mass. It's even harder when you've never been on the cape! I promise you'll get more nostalgic for Austin with every chapter. I'm going to give a virtual tour of one of the best cities in the U.S. through this story!

Ha! Newsies is sooo a part of chapter 2!

Nick Jacobs has had a pretty crappy life. His mother is a drug and alcohol abusing prostitute. He never knew who his father was. Sadly, Nick ends up in the foster care system in Austin, Texas. After seven years in and out of different foster families, he ends up in a group home. Everything changes when the White family takes him to lunch and spends an afternoon with Nick at their home. It's a world that Nick had never even dreamed of. Will he fit in? Will he ever experience the kind of unconditional love most others take for granted?

My name. That’s the first thing people want to know, right? Nicholas Colin Jacobs. I don’t usually tell people my middle name—too much joke opportunity. Oh yeah—I’m sixteen and a sophomore in high school. Of course, there are a lot of other things about me that bring on the jokes and the taunting. I was a foster kid. Thought I would always be one. That is until I got called into the office at the group home. Mrs. Cranston, the home director, sat on the lumpy sofa with me and took my han

A Big Step in Florida

It's Jaime. I'll take a look and fix it. I don't used the MS correction thing so much. I use Grammerly. But sometimes it hers me around with some words. -

Journal Entry – 12/15/2012 Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve done a Journal Entry. Been a little busy, I guess. Let’s see, I got a boyfriend and then finals for my first semester in college. Both Andy and I feel like we did well. We’ll see when we get back from Christmas break. Christmas break starts off in Fort Lauderdale for their Invitational Holiday Swimming and Diving competition. Four schools were invited this year—University of Miami, Florida State, Ohio State, and UT. I- 11 comments
