  1. Timothy Evans. I can’t get him out of my mind. Jacob says I have this gift where I touch everyone’s heart. That may be true. But Timmy touched mine. The day after we met, I got a call from Timmy’s mother, Jeannie. “Franklin’s Tailor Shop. This is Charlie. How can I help you?” “Hi Charlie, this is Jeannie Evans. I’m so sorry to bother you at work.” “Oh! It’s no bother at all. It’s the perfect time for a short break. How’s my new friend?” “Well, that’s why I’m
  2. So many things to look forward to! I hope we get to hear Dave and Mom sort through things! And Brett knowing that was his dad threatening to sue everyone? Hmmm. Just keeps getting better and better!
  3. I binge-read the first two books and fell in love with all of your characters... okay... maybe not so much mom and dad! Now I'm caught up and waiting with everyone else for each chapter. Tonight, I stopped for a quick dinner on my way home from work and saw you had posted this chapter. Damn you!! I'm trying to eat my soup, my California chicken salad, and read... and I couldn't stop the tears. A woman a couple of tables down saw me reading from my phone and asked if it was bad news. What could I say? I told her it was beautiful news and apologized for making a scene. I don't think I'll be visiting that restaurant for a while. Sheesh! I'm currently working on a very emotional chapter in my current story, and I have to say this chapter has inspired me beyond belief. Thank you!
  4. I called all over, trying to find out what had happened. No one knew anything. Of course, there were no answers when I called the Greenelys or Franklins. So, I did what I always do when I’m troubled. I worked. I finished my part of the project in no time at all. I started working on Cam’s part of the project, and as I was nearly finished, there was a knock on the shop door. It was Jacob, and he looked terribly worried about something. I unlocked the door and let him in. “Jay

    Chapter 1

Loved your first chapter! I love reading good stories from other authors as it inspires me to do more writing! Thanks!
  6. Got those blue boxes fixed... Thank you Cia, for your help!
  7. A beautiful boy. Plain and simple. Jacob Anderson is a beautiful boy. He looks to be about 5’10”, with dirty blonde hair that’s parted on the side. Wisps of hair occasionally drop down over his piercing green eyes. Contacts? Had to be. I don’t think God has that color in his color palette. His cheeks look like they were sculpted by Michelangelo, setting off his eyes and sloping down to his square jawline. Jacob has this sexy cleft in the middle of his chin and these amazing, full, a
  8. Whoooooa! You, sir, have just made my entire year! Thank you so much!
  9. I think it depends on the part of country one lives in. I based that marriage arrangement on a friend of mine back in South Carolina. Once they had the baby, they got divorced and the two couples went on their merry ways. Both couples are still together and best friends, by the way. I don't think I could do that though... no matter the financial "reward" was involved.
  10. Thanks Jay! I think I caught them! Jeez, it's so hard to keep track of my lesbians sometimes!
  11. What the fuck? What would Frankie want to talk about? And what the Hell was he doing in town? He’s supposed to be off to college. I texted him back and told him we could talk, but it needed to be somewhere public. I really didn’t want him coming over to the house. He suggested Eric’s coffee shop. Fuck me. Well, at least Eric wasn’t working there any longer since he moved to L.A. The next morning, I walked into the coffee shop, ordered a café mocha, and took a seat at a table away
  12. Thank you NoSkis. I fixed the glitch! Jay, please don't forget that Charlie and the vast majority of these characters are just eighteen-year-old kids. 99% of their relationship and sexual activities are driven by hormones and lust. They make stupid choices and do stupid things without thinking about the consequences. If these kids related to each other and reacted to situations as adults who have years of life experience, they wouldn't be real and the story wouldn't make sense. I know when I was 18, I made a lot of choices and had a lot of experiences I wouldn't even consider now. Please try not to judge these kids while they make their mistakes (like most of us did) and grow and learn from them.
  13. The six weeks leading up to graduation were pretty surreal. David and I were technically still together, but as his preparations for Russia grew, our relationship dynamics changed. We still loved each other. There was no mistake about that. But the physical part of our relationship became less frequent, and honestly, less important. While we would talk about how badly we wanted to stay together, the more we talked about it, the more we realized that it was probably not one of thos
  14. Oops! Thanks for pointing that out! Correction made! Hope you keep reading. Yes, there is some sadness coming up (even in this story) but I promise those sad moments are necessary for life to move on to even better things!

    The Gift

Love it! I think you have found another genre to explore a little more!
  16. I can't totally disagree with you BA, but then again... these are high school boys. High school boys know nothing of what love really is like. But for 18 year-olds, it was as deep and honest as they possibly could be. Good God, I know I would NEVER want the type of relationships I had in high school... Hell, even college!
  17. Of all the people who have followed these stories, I thought of you and how you would react... and your reaction was exactly what I thought it would be. Take a look at my reply to droughtquake's comment... i just might make you happy
  18. A while back I started a story about a concert pianist. I only got one chapter written because I have had no idea what to do with it. I'm seriously thinking of changing the main character's name to David Chase and making it the fourth book in this Series. Whatcha think?
  19. Thank you so much Justleah! And of course, the same to you!
  20. I woke up the next morning with my phone buzzing. Who the fuck is texting me at 7:30 on a Saturday morning? Even though I was in the arms of my beautiful boy, I was able to reach my phone on the nightstand. PRKRMLLR: so? CHARDAN: ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ PRKRMLLR: david tell you he loved you? CHARDAN: oh yeah—showed me too PRKRMLLR: and? CHARDAN: scary how happy i am. what did you say to david? PRKRMLLR: hehe. to stop being a pussy and tell you how he feels.
  21. Tesao, I am SO sorry! I typo'd on the title of the Chopin piece. It's really the Nocturne in Eb, which is a piece I worked on in College. I corrected it here, but I sure hope you still enjoyed the chapter!
  22. I had trouble concentrating on driving as we got nearer to the house. David said the capital “L” word. Not “like,” that’s the lower-case “l” word. He told me he was falling in love with me. That allowed me to admit that I was falling in love with him. Now, I know we were going to wait until the time was right. But in so many ways, this was like my first time all over again. The more time I spent with David, the more I realized that my short time with Frankie was nothing more than sex. Yes,
  23. I woke up Friday morning, remembering that we didn’t have school today. As soon as I snuggled into the arms holding me and enjoyed the warm body wrapped around— Wait a minute! What the fuck? I was suddenly wide awake and realized that David had come into bed with me. How long had he been here? Damn! It sure feels nice, though! I wanted to stay like this for a while, but damn, I had to pee so bad!! I slowly eased myself from David’s arms and slipped out of bed. Cold! It’s so cold!
  24. We tend to forget that these are high school kids. They're teenagers. They make stupid choices. They hurt the people that mean the most to them. I would never have an older guy do this sort of thing unless I planned to have him dead in the next chapter! Some of these kids will make more mistakes than others (Frankie). Some of these kids are so very wise beyond their years (David). Some of these kids are extremely special and have no idea the effect they have on others (Charlie). Some of these kids are just hot (Ian).
  25. I have thought about Vic and Hayden. That will be a tough one to write with Hayden passing away. That one might take a while to figure out. twatopotamus??? Really??? LOL
