  1. It'll be a big adjustment for me too!
  2. I'm proud of how it all came out! But we all know Dustin's just a big soft cuddly teddy bear hiding behind that rough mask he puts on. He couldn't have really killed anyone, no matter how much they might have deserved it.
  3. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
  4. Thanks! It's been a long time coming.
  5. Frank Smith stumbled out of the Lucky Strike Bar the day after Thanksgiving feeling a nice buzz. He was still good enough to drive himself home. He’d be dead in the cold hard ground before he’d let Harry the bartender call him a cab. Throughout his life, alcohol had been his best and sometimes only friend. He was getting used to the old routines again, ever since he’d kicked that fat bitch wife of his to the curb. She’d finally had the balls to file for divorce, but he would never sign the paper
  6. No we didn't find out the results. The great thing is, they don't matter anymore! I'm with you. Billy's line at the end is one of my favorite Billy quotes of the whole series!
  7. Tempting, but this really is the end of the road this time!
  8. The long term will certainly be the tough part for them, but they each think the other is worth it, so I see good things ahead!
  9. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
  10. Thanks! It'd be more trouble for the professor than the student! Might not be illegal but it's certainly unethical!
  11. Yes he does.
  12. At least we set up that Dustin was having these kinds of dreams and it wasn't out of nowhere!
  13. I originally had "I really love you" but it wasn't strong enough. After I changed it to "honestly," I had this song running through my head as well!
  14. Not quite over yet! :)
  15. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
  16. “You’re negative,” Zack said with a smile. “Oh wow… What a relief!” Dustin replied. He was relieved to finally have his answer. It hadn’t been a very long wait, but it had seemed like an eternity. He thanked Zack and walked with him to the lobby where Brett was waiting for them. “Well?” Brett asked. Dustin just smiled, and that was all Brett needed to know. Brett rose from his seat and went to hug Dustin. But before he was able to reach Dustin, the door opened be
  17. Dustin had never been at a funeral where there were so many people as the day he went to Joey’s funeral. There was hardly any room for anyone to sit in the large church where the service was held. Dustin had never been in that church before, but he’d heard a lot about it. It had one time been the church where Nate’s father had preached. There’d been a huge scandal at the church involving Nate’s father, so he had resigned in disgrace and been divorced by Nate’s mother. Now the church had about a
  18. Well, they're not that related. All three boys screwed up. Nate cheated on Luke with Dustin too. That's part of the fun I've had with this one, everybody's screwed up except Brett, and maybe Billy. (Just don't fuckin' touch him, for the love of God!)
  19. Sometimes they do!
  20. Trouble afoot!
  21. Thank you! I don't know why I excel at writing the asshole characters. A good story needs a good villain!
  22. It's a rough time for SLD. But help sometimes comes from unexpected places.
  23. I don't think anyone will miss Luke. Even Sarah had some redeeming qualities.
  24. As long as we can keep Dustin away from any weapons. Is there anything scarier than Dustin with a gun? Maybe Mr. Johnston with a shotgun...
  25. Thanks! It was sad to see the end of Luke and Nate... No wait, it wasn't sad at all! lol
