Poor Kevin it’s no fun when you are hurting. If Kevin can stand it wear 2 socks on the foot the extra padding will help his toe. Kevin might want to keep his foot up on a footstool and don’t let stay on the floor. On his rib area does he or you have a tighter fitting shirt he could wear that to keep his chest area protected. Now to help your chickens get some small size window screen or smaller wire opening. And put it on the lower part of the fence that will keep other critters out you can hook to the fence by using zip ties and make it temporary. We had to this to our garden that the rabbits wanted our lettuce. Cheap and fast because since the skunk found the chickens he will be back. Some people lock there chickens up at night if you do then another idea is to get a motion activated light the skunk gets in the area the light comes on. They do make battery activated. so take care of Kevin and yourself.

@Wayne Gray I glad your here as well. And @mollyhousemouse and @Reader1810 as well. I love the internet for just this reason where can all of us talk to each other and seem like family. So I know we all are struggling with problems and worries sometimes it just helps to put them out there and get a fresh point of view. I know in talking in DiC that I have a lot of great friends. We all reach that breaking point and we need someone or something to calm us down. So everyone I have talk to or share a problem thank you.

Hey everyone I’m spending a wonderful afternoon at the laundromat. The dryer broke down and the repair guy is so back up it will 2 weeks. So while sitting at the laundry I came to realize this should be the new pick up spot. You can learn so much about someone while watching them doing there laundry. You even get to know whether it is boxers or briefs. So while I wait on the loads to wash/dry maybe I can catch up on some reading. Or better yet just people watch ... so if you are lonely check out your local laundromat. And give it a spin ...rick

Try this same recipe in a air fryer they are really good crispy. We love our air fryer.

Ok I did my good deed for the day in all this heat. I sold tickets for a charity event to help kids and we raised over $1500.00 dollars so I’m well please. Just a short note the sad thing is my sweat has sweat - so taking a shower and cooking off.
