School Assignment: Select a topic from only on this list of opposing viewpoints on the following database website. Me looking at the website: Hmm, let me go with Same-Sex Marriage. School Assignment: Research your topic for the primary opposing viewpoints only from this website (the same we got the topic from). Then write a three or more paragraph essay in APA formatting (don't need topic sentences or thesis statement). Write this essay validating each opposing viewpoint and in support of them. Only use sources that are reliable, credible, and free of bias. Me looking at the website: You want me to use HuffPo, the failing New York Times, and fake news CNN as credible sources? We just went over in chapter 6 this week about bias in the media, and the book pointed out that CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNews are all skewed and bias. Also, 90% of all print media is biased as well. Me in private message to the instructor (whose nice, friendly, and willing to help and answer questions): All my sources on the website are not credible, per the standards we are supposed to using based on chapter 5 and 6 this week. Can I use another source? Instructor: I'm sorry, but the University says you have to use only this website and its databases. Try to use what you can, and see if there are any academic studies you can use. Me beating my head on the desk, as I just hit the end of my topics database section, with nothing but biased sources that only support one side of the topic... I'll let you guess which side.

I've found both of our Doms, Mac and Mike very approachable and open to answering honest questions. Our subs, molly, tim, renee when she drops by and sean when he's on, are also very approachable. I don't know of any D/s in my circle of local friends. Though there is one guy I know that likes the whips and chains, but no sex.

I do have the Notification setting for "Notify me when a comment is posted to a story I follow," turned on. No. I'm not getting notifications from his anthology piece or AC Benus' story, who I also follow. I was getting them with only just the reaction on the ToC page, but that has stopped. Cool. If I need to click the follow button, then that tells me what to do. That said, why was I getting the notification with just a reaction on the story's ToC page?

Same, but the Administrator is a dick. She's already filed a complaint with the State about other issues.

It's almost over for us, but it's moving to the northeast. We're going to get cold weather right behind it. She's doing good, but was pissed off because of stuff going on. They put a pink bracelet on her, saying she can't have thin liquids, and the thickening agent is to make it pudding thick. Also, that she's not allowed to mix it herself. But that is going against Doctor's orders. She is supposed to able to fix it herself, so it's honey thick. She has an appointment with the Administrator tomorrow.

I'm not getting all my notifications from the stories that I follow. I will get some that a comment was made on few of them, mainly from the older ones, but the newer stories, the anthology stories for sure, are spotty.

I told her about your anthology story. Paraphrased it for her. She said if she can get back on the net, they have crappy Wi-Fi, she would love to read it. As for the weather, the weatherman says we're on track for a repeat of the winters of 1997 & 1999. Because of El Nino. On my tablet, and this thing thinks it knows what I want to say better than I do.

Back from seeing Mom. She says "Hi" to everyone. rain is getting worse, and there's a tornado warning in effect.

What I learned today... I should never try to write a Hetero sex scene. Wrote it last night, let is stew overnight, talked to my content editor about, reread the scene, and now I'm turning into a "fade to black." As for writing times. Being on disability, when I had more time than needed, I could do a 4000-7000 word chapter in a week. Since school started I'm lucky to be able to get a scene in a week. Not complaining about it, it just makes me focus on getting a scene done, and written better than normal. When I'm closer to the end, I'll start sending them to my editors for real. tim has read chapter one of my next story and gave me some great feedback on it.

Also, I do notes, Outlines for each chapter, outlines for each arc in the story, and an outline for the whole story. Mainly so I can keep myself on Task.

I use one note as well, for notes and stuff. I also use paper and pen too, as it's easier to into the bathroom. At the start of my classes, it was suggested by an instructor to use Scrivener, so I got it when the disbursement came in. $45 bucks and it's a lifetime lisc. that I can use both for school (APA style formatting), and for writing my stories. Several people here on GA uses the program too.

I downloaded the recipe as well. 🙂 Some people might like it here. Though lately whenever I go to make stuff, like brownies, and biscuits, I get the same question. "Isn't easier to already buy them pre-made?" I think that was a hint my stuff tastes like shyte.

Ok, off to do stuff as well. Lunch break is over.

And cats... after they make their slaves... err, humans... fill their food bowls. Part of me is envious because that would be an amazing sight to behold. But the larger part of me is saying, frack that... too damn cold.

Depending on how far the walk was, I might have done what Brutus did. LOL.

I've been listening to a lot of Two Steps From Hell lately. This one I'm finding really good.
