"How old is your brother?" Coach asks.
"He's thirteen, sir," I tell him, looking over at Ryder, whose brows furrow.
"Does he play ball?" Coach asks.
"No sir, he doesn’t," I tell him.
"I thought you had a little brother," Ryder says.
"He is my little brother."
"But you said you have to watch him," Ryder presses.
I sigh, "I do."
"Is he, like, special or something?"
Oh wow! Thank you all for the support and the welcome! I just found out about this thread, as I am still getting used to this site. By the way I enjoy this so much, it's amazing to get to talk to readers and just interact with everyone! A huge thank you to Rustle who messaged me about editing and "cleaning" and gave me a ton of tips and insights as a reader he saw. He has done phenomenal on the chapters that I did send to him and I am excited to see what more improvements he can help me make! Thank you all again I really do hope you all enjoy reading this story!
Yes! One thing I try to do for all my writing is to make sure the characters are human. That they are going to mess up and do something dumb and act way.
Thank you I had no idea about the discussion Thread! I am still getting used to this site!

Finally, the week from hell is over. I head out of the locker room and catch up with Garret.
"Sup man?" I ask, shaking his hand and bringing him in to a hug.
"Nothing, got anything planned?" he asks.
I shake my head and leftover water from the shower shakes off as well. "Nah, was it me, or was Coach kind of pissed at us today?"
Garret just shakes his head no. "I mean, not that I really paid attention. I mean, did he ta
Exactly they wanted to establish that they were the dominate ones in the weight room and all. Teens have so much pride and they dont want it compromised, and they will have to learn to get along more that is for sure!
Yes I used to be on a football team in high school. I am very happy to hear that you are enjoying it! Yeah different coaches have their own techniques on things.
Hey!!!
Yes I got in contact with an old friend who told me about it so I was like why not? I love it! I love being able to talk to readers and this flows so much easier. Yes I will be catching it all up! Plus being able to more detail and things into the chapters not to worry I am writing new chapters now! I am glad you found me here!
“Want to throw the ball around?” I ask, not sure what else to do.
He nods, “Yeah, sure, why not.”
“Cool, I have a ball out back.” I tell him, leading him to the back yard.
He just laughs, “Of course you do.”
I get a little self conscious at the statement; I guess there isn’t much else to me besides football. “Yeah, my dad and I normally throw it around after school and stuff, but probably won’t be doing that for a while.”
He lobs
Hey! I wished you would have! I like the posting here. So much easier, I actually was talking to my first ever editor/friend he told me to try it out here.
*Pop* the sound of helmets connecting crack in the field. Coach blows his whistle, "Again!" I stand on the sidelines impatient because I know I am much better than the quarterback that is on the field right now. The football is snapped, and I instantly can find a wide receiver to catch the ball, but Shawn doesn't and he is sacked.
"Coach, I could make this play with my eyes closed." I tell him.
Coach K turns around and gives me a look. "Shut up Kessler!"
Ryder is good looking, popular and on the top of his football game. At fifteen what more can a teenager want? When his dad a legendary coach takes a new coaching position his life is uprooted, and so is the past that starts to take a toll on Ryder.
