Ryder has always known a bit more than what he has said. He's had a pretty good idea of what happened to him. Plus Shawn is someone he feels comfortable talking with and confiding in.
I get up and look over, realizing Jeremy isn’t in my bed. I get up and put some shorts on, and head down the stairs. I hear my parents and Jeremy talking. “How bad is it?” I hear my dad ask.
“Coach, I hear him whimper and mumble in his sleep non-stop. I know he isn’t getting any sleep, because honestly, I haven’t gotten any,” Jeremy says.
“Why hasn’t he told us anything?” my mom asks.
“It’s because he either doesn’t want to worry us, or isn’t remembering
We sit in the locker room, waiting for my dad to come in. It’s half time and we are only down by one touchdown. The opposing team has stepped up their defense and is killing us. I know Shawn is nervous; he’s made two incomplete passes and only gained a few yards on running. My dad steps into the locker room. “Gentlemen, listen, we are still in this. We have the chance to open the season up with a big win. We haven’t worked our asses off this summer and these last few weeks to tuck our tail
Haha well thank you for not spoiling it! Trust me this will all be worth it! Rusty is doing editing on the previous chapters and they are looking amazing compared to what they were! So these new chapters will be top notch!

“Oh, my bad, man. Hey, are we cool?”
“Yeah, sorry, it’s just been a weird night and morning. Want to go to my room and chill?”
“No worries, man. Yeah, I figured school was canceled and I don’t have work, so I would see if you wanted to chill out.”

I hear a knock on the door, and I get off the couch to open the door. Shawn is standing there, dripping wet from the rain outside. “Dude, you okay?”
“Can I come in?” he asks, avoiding my gaze.
“Yeah, um, let me grab you a towel,” I tell him and go to the bathroom to look for one.
I run back to the door and hand him the towel, “What’s going on, man?”
“Is Coach home?” he asks.
“No, my mom went to pick him up from the airport. His f
Ryder enjoyed the showboating his skills for sure.
I hope we did have a little break through with the two of them
this next chapter is going to clear up so much more
Jeremy still isn’t picking up my calls or returning my texts, so I do my morning run and take a shower. Debating what to wear the first day of school, I settle on green compression boxers and khaki shorts, with a pink polo shirt. A friend back home said the shirt brought out my eyes and had a nice contrast against my darker complexion
I smile at my reflection in the mirror, my teeth shiny and bright. I feel myself getting a boner. I reposition myself, so it won’t be so noticeable
