How did I get pulled in here...?
-
Ask anyone, I'm not a great cook. BUT I know how to stir the pot well.

You've coined a new term: Benge. Hehe, that's awesome. Thanks for picking up this story, Philippe. I've enjoyed reading your comments. Chapter 30 is currently in the works. There may or may not be new genres to add to your list. Cheers! Mac

Darwinism at its finest.

Good night, subs and DiCsters. This guy's going to bed early. Be good.

Hey, I can't argue with 3/3.
-
Enjoy (hmm, dinner... good idea...)

I'm still sour about the goal call-back. It was bogus. Eventually, I'll get over it. Til then, no hockey.
-
I vote for neither. Fuck hockey.

@BHopper2 Not sure if you're familiar with this sci-fi author. https://bit.ly/2LwPyB9

Enjoy it, Thorn!

I'm back in my office and out of the snow/cold, so I'm doing pretty good.

Good girl. It'll be over before you know it, and then homeward bound.

I thank you all for your comments about the homeless ordinance. I was once a "not in my backyard" person, even though I myself lived on the streets for a time. After some soul searching, I changed my mind. Criminalizing someone for being homeless is dehumanizing them, and if someone needs a place to rest their head, I won't be the person who says "not in my backyard." Not until the root causes of why they're homeless is addressed and positive actions put into play. The opposition to the ordinance was funded by big corps and city-funded businesses who don't want the ugliness of homelessness to tarnish our beautiful streets. At one point, police were confiscating blankets and sleeping bags right off of people, ordered by the mayor. I'll shut up now before I get reprimanded by admin. The Avs lost. I'm going to bed. Love you all.

(Unless they lose tonight)

So the winning vote is to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms and criminalize homelessness. Our priorities are bass akwards. I'm really starting to hate this city. (Except for the Avalanche)

Regarding homelessness, the outcome of our ballot yesterday was extremely disappointing. The "Right to Survive" ordinance was completely shot down, the opposition heavily funded by big corps and city-funded businesses. They don't know what to do with the homeless population - they just know they don't wanna see them anywhere. (Because this is getting into political territory, I'll stop there.)

Hello, molly. Are you awake now?
-
Good boy.

I saw a story on CBS Sunday Morning this past weekend about Tulsa's incentive program that pays people to move there. I considered it for a fraction of a moment... then thought: tornadoes. Nope. I'm glad you weren't in the path of them last night, Fae.

Please tell me you're not seeing the Avengers movie...
-
Enjoy your well-deserved time off, boy.

Heading home. And I have a reprieve from hockey playoffs tonight.

Maybe your knee looked sturdy and available.
