  1. It's timmy's forum... he can say yay or nay.
  2. The reason I brought up GIFs is because you can now post them with the new site upgrade. It's not just a random thought I had, lol.
  3. Can we make a pact never to post GIFs in the DiC? Unnecessary sensory madness.
  4. Your team is deserving of all of the accolades.

    Lesson #4

As tim said, everyone is welcome to read and comment. If not, I wouldn't have posted it here. In fact, I'm happy to have people who aren't in the Life but are curious to understand it read it. For the most part, Doms and subs are already aware, so I'm not teaching them anything new with these Lessons (although, they may glean something from them). So, thanks for taking the time to read and to care about how you respond. Your response is welcome, even if it only pertains to the writing aspect. This is, after all, a writing site. And you are certainly not an uninvited jerk at the party!

    Lesson #3

Thanks for your comments. It's OK if you dont' 'get it'... that's a reason I'm writing it. Cheers, Geron.

    Lesson #1

    Thanks for reading, Geron!
  10. Oh no, GIF capability... LOL
  11. This was a very touching chapter. The homecoming was wonderfully handled, and the events which unfolded from there - Max's return to school, his involvement with the after-school art program, his ease back into high school and a social life, his handling of his Aunt's mess with such strength and maturity - really shows that he's going to be okay, overall. In fact, I'm pretty sure he'll do brilliant things with his life. Not only is he a bright kid, his head and his heart are in the right place. This story gets better and better. Thank you for it.
  12. For me, the addition of the third horse is the most powerful moment in this chapter. It demonstrates a complete circle of thought about not only bringing Max into the fold, but ensuring that everyone will be happy with the transition, that no one will ever feel left out - especially Louis, who is the glue necessary to hold their new family unit together. It also demonstrates Don's deep love for Louis and his care for his partner's feelings. To me, Changes, Again isn't as much a story about fostering a child as it is about illustrating the deep bond of Louis' and Don's relationship. Max is a wonderful character to help shine a light on that.
  13. Heading down to Salida on Sunday, coming back on Tuesday. A short getaway. Not exactly a writing vacation, but I may get some writing done.
  14. I shouldn't complain too much. I'm off for the next 4 days.
  15. I'm glad someone does, Reader!
  16. I've still got 2 hours to go! TGI-frickin'-F
  17. Fascinating! It's further proof that everything has a purpose. A nutrient iceberg!
  18. Like a public service announcement? Hmm, I could see a TEDTalk coming out of this...
  19. This is a model I frequently use.
  20. tim is the magnet that pulls us together in here. When he's troubled, we all feel it. It's a damn shame what happened today. I hope tomorrow is a clearer day, for all of us. PM if you need me. Good night, DiCsters.
  21. Not while I'm at work. But definitely later!

    Lesson #4

Wonderful to see you here, jp, even if briefly. Thank you for your insightful comments on this lesson. Yes, the beginning can sometimes be the most challenging, but with each new day, there's new opportunity to learn, so long as the sub is willing. Also, so long as the sub believes in his unique abilities and personal worth. I hope to see more of you around here. you are missed by many.
  23. Thanks for the well wishes. I had 2 procedures done on same side. The tooth extraction was a beast, and my head is paying the price today, but it will heal.
  24. The hole in my mouth has finally stopped bleeding, so that's good.
