Take some weak person, put him in a position of power, and see if he acts rationally. I think Jakun held himself together rather well given the messes he's been through.

*Three lawful guys. I think you missed Ilyas. He's the follower of a god who was so disciplined that he literally ascended to godhood on virtue of his perfection. And the dogs absolutely could be useful, but they also eat A LOT. Much easier to leave them at Oleg's where they can be properly fed and help guard the post.

That's an interesting one. Basically, Ramiel asked the universe for someone to help him become a hellknight (the absolute fool!) and Abapad was like, SCORE! One convoluted contract later, and now he has a demon who will grow with him, ensuring that whenever he does take the Test, he has a devil that he can fight to become a hellknight legally. It's legit, and been approved by the higher ups in the order, though they are unaware of the contract... ahem... "details".

Guns have been around for only a few hundred years, and have been a staple in the city of Alkenstar, where nearly 90% of the weapons made each year are kept for members of the guard. They're insanely technologically advanced for Golarion, and many have never seen such a weapon before. Mechanically, the flintlock musket has a 10% misfire chance, so Elias definitely has to be careful. Tactics also have a huge part to play here, along with bandit stupidity (I mean, who just charges headfirst into enemy fortifications?!) And who says there were no hand jobs required? I think Kesten would absolutely love a hand job from Amethyst

Eh, I'm honestly not sure how Shelyn would feel if the beauty that was made came from drugs. Probably okay with it, as a source of inspiration, but she would definitely appreciate if her followers looked to themselves for creativity, instead of the highs of pesh or some other drug.

To be fair, how many evil people would travel with a follower of a good deity? Besides, the knights of Lastwall are crusaders, out to destroy demons and undead themselves. I don't think Amnor Sen has much to worry about if this group has one of them.

Oh, Ivris gave them the exact ritual he used, mixed with an unhealthy dose of the realities of death and murder. It just didn't make Jakun as crazy as he thought it would. I mean, after Loran, the amurrun has pretty much seen it all.
