Considering you have the inside look at Daniel Mythara (yes, that Daniel, Moon's father) him being sacrificed is both insanely powerful in terms of Jakun's ritual and inconsequential in his own existence. For him, this whole occurrence was really just an interesting experiment.
They absolutely would, and Jeremy could probably still do a lot even when drunk. I think he has more than proven his role as the happy drunk, similar to his god.
HOPE
The horses trod slowly past a branch in the trail, following a trail through the growing grasses of early spring, dusted with the remnants of the previous night’s snowfall. Silence reigned over the group, the events of the morning disturbing them all.
Even Hope, as irreverent as he was, felt the emotion weighing him down as they rode.
“You make it sound like I have no respect for the lives around me,” the tiefling muttered. “Men died last night, in battle. It’s no less
It may take a bit (of drink) to get him fighting, but when he does, Jeremy is a beast.
I mean, clerics in general are beasts, but a dexterity focused cleric of a drunken god with a rapier is just *chef's kiss*
What you want is either a warpriest or an oracle of battle then. Think Geralt, but a little heavier on the casting side, using divine spells granted by a god. If you don't want ties to the deities, oracle is the way to go as the god literally says, here, have a curse and some powers, those are yours to keep.
The thing is, there are certain names in Golarion that you have to say both names. Such as Cayden Cailean. No one would ever refer to him by just one name, it would be disrespectful.
The arcane pocket? Or conjuring liquid? One's arcane (duh) and the other is divine, which leads me to believe this Mythara might be a mystic theurge, using both kinds of magic at once.
To be fair, there is an arcane spell, Celestial Healing, that doesn't depend on positive or negative energy, but in order for Jakun to get that, he'd have to travel about five hundred kilometers west, give or take a thousand kilometers, as that spell was created in the Magaambya and is a rare spell to have.
Nagas are true neutral, no different than any other animal, save for the fact that they are intelligent.
And the spell they are using on Jakun is Inflict Wounds. They're literally using negative energy to heal a still (somewhat) living body. That's painful.
