A candle burned bright over a small desk, a sword upon the desk. The runes lining the blade might as well have been gibberish for all the studying Elluin was getting. He couldn't put that tiefling out of his mind. Why did the fiend affect him so? Was this yet another part of his ancestor's heritage? He already took on a bestial form under the full moon, what else would his heritage pile on him? He could stop this right now. Elluin didn't have to go to the Mages' Guild in search of the tiefli

The fox raced through the palace, a pair of underwear clenched in his jaws. A wolf galloped at his heels, barking furiously. Mateio was having the time of his life. It had been nearly a year since he had left the Alliance, and though he often had thoughts of the life he had left behind, every day he spent with his Bonded proved he had made the right choice. Even when his Bonded was in the need of some entertainment. Sprinting out of the palace, Mateio leapt up into the new fountai

“I don’t see what the problem is. My people need to be taken care of, and if the throne won’t help us recover from the aliens-” Aaron frowned, standing up. The neko across the table copied his frown, ears folding back warily. “Lord Nyrin, let’s take a walk,” the elf said conversationally. The neko rose and followed Aaron out of the room. They walked down the palace halls, Aaron leading him outside. “You know, this past month has been hard on Astara. We have had our view of the un

“I do not believe it will be that difficult to switch the currency over as long as we keep a balance. Our standard unit is a silver. If we can keep a base of ten, making ten credits equal to a silver, perhaps the biggest issue facing us in joining will be resolved.” Mateio listened to the elf tiredly, nodding along. He was here to give a middle ground between Aaron’s financial advisor and the Alliance officer, but he had honestly lost the conversation long ago. Five days of meetings, o

Jordan woke up the next morning with a warm body at his back and the smell of fresh baked laerisa in his nose. He lay in bed for a few more moments, warm under the blankets. But all too soon his body reminded him of his morning duties. He rolled over, wrapping an arm around Lysander. The elf let out a tired mumble, curling up tighter under the blanket. “I think Damian made breakfast.” “I don’t want any.” Jordan sat up, sliding out of bed. “Do you want to be alone for a bit?”

I agree that the collar needs to come off. Unfortunately some characters can be rather stubborn. Different races do have different lifespans, Faro generally being considered one of the longer lived species at two hundred years. Unfortunately Egaro are more average at a hundred years with the wonders of medical technology.

Mateio stood nervously beside Aaron as the shuttle descended from the heavens. Thanks to his vessel, contacting the Alliance ships had been no problem. It still took nearly a month for the Alliance to agree to negotiations. But finally, they were landing. And Mateio was in trouble. Again. Aaron set a hand on the Faro’s head, rubbing his mate gently. “Don’t worry. They won’t do anything to you,” he said quietly. “Besides kick me out of the fleet.” “For what? Landing to se

Aaron couldn’t get enough of his mate’s scent. He was here. He had returned. And he was tucked under Aaron’s chin, the two laying in Aaron’s large bed together. No words were said. Nothing needed to be said. They loved each other. And he knew that he would never make the mistake of sending the Faro away again. Mateio was his, and he was Mateio’s. They could work through any problems they had together. No one had been surprised when the elf had lifted the fox into his arms, rushing him

They approached the building under the brightness of a blue sun, Itumak rubbing his eyes. The night had been short. Like, only three hours long. It was disturbing. There hadn’t been any time for the night to cool the world around him. And he hadn’t felt any pull from the moon, almost as if there was no moon… The cough of an engine filled the air, choked and harsh. It cut off after a few seconds, Itumak unable to find the source. A Xanar stopped the two in front of a tall fence. “Excuse

“Do you really think I should go back to Astara?” Mateio twisted his bangle nervously. He had been suffering this whole trip. Maybe he should just give up. He hadn’t technically bonded with Aaron. Maybe there was still someone out there for him. “Trust me Mateio, Aaron does nothing without thinking it through. Sending us away, that was not him. That was grief talking. You are his mate and I know he misses you. He probably misses me, but I completely understand why he had to send me away.

It does help my productivity when I'm not constantly trying to heal a bunch of Altmer through a beginner dungeon 😛

It is believed among the Faro that he was responsible for the downfall of the Artegos. It's not true of course, but people will believe what they want.

The sun beat down on his head as he laboured, carrying rubble to a truck. There was so much to do, so much that he should be doing. But for now the king of Astara let his mind be claimed by menial labour. He pined for Mateio, missed the Faro’s smell, the way he would smile awkwardly at jokes. What had he been thinking, pushing the fox away? Adara was dead, gone. But his mate was still there, waiting to offer his support. And he had rejected it. Had rejected him, the fox that made his w

Itumak stared down at Astara. This wasn’t the last time he’d see it. It couldn’t be. He would return someday. A hand touched the neko’s shoulder gently, Lian holding out a warm mug of juice. Itumak raised an eyebrow at the Daknar. “I thought you liked this drink,” Lian said quietly, lowering his head. “Thank you Lian,” Itumak replied, taking the mug gently. As bad as he felt, he knew it couldn’t compare to Aaron. But the neko had done his duty, as Arisa told him to. If that m

Aaron hurried out of the ship, keeping Mateio behind him. “Stand down! None of my companions will harm you!” he called. Slowly the guns were lowered, Aaron breathing a little easier. A woman broke through the line of soldiers, kneeling before Aaron. “Your Majesty, we heard rumours you were dead,” she said. “I am very much alive, and wish to stay that way,” Aaron smiled weakly. “You and your soldiers are to be commended however. You have defended your homes admirably.” “Thank

Dont worry, Claire and Arisa should settle that soon enough.

Fun fact, that scene was written specially for you.

4 Ordaer 1413 Yeah yeah, I already missed a week. Like it really matters. Like any of this is going to make a difference. Let’s face it, I’m already an outcast. Living in this complex will not make anything better. Shit, I’m lucky if I can bring myself to leave the apartment for food. Fine, I have a problem, I admit it. But you know what? Mira can fuck off with all that, and how does this make you feel bullshit. Fuck, now I’m fucking pissed. This is going to be a long night. An

Aaron curled up in the captain’s quarters, nibbling on a pastry Mateio had made him. Algaer, the Faro had called it. The fox had hidden himself in the bathroom, showering, and had declined Aaron’s offer to join him. Honestly, the elf was happy his offer had been declined. He may be better than most at keeping his wolf contained when he needed to, but he still had his limits. And Mateio seemed to push every one of his buttons when it came to his wolf. Aaron didn’t know what it was about the

“You’re sure this is the best way?” Aaron asked. “Better than any other plan we have,” Itumak shrugged. They had been stuck on the space station for three days now, everyone growing more and more frustrated by the lack of action. To pass the time, Aaron and Itumak had begun holding war meetings, trying to figure out different strategies to take their home back from the Empire. Their latest idea was a slow war of attrition. Mateio opened the door into a store with a shrug. “It

Interestingly enough, the fact that most calicos are male is not widely known. But there is a certain bar in Sarelin that celebrates calicos. Damian tried to get a job there when he was younger but unfortunately it did not work out.
-
You give me too much credit. I am merely scribing the story. It is the characters that tell me where to go.
-
I actually figured out why calico markings are seen as bad. But the reason might be a while in coming out.

Mute. Loner. Angry. All can describe Claire. She has a vendetta against the world. But maybe, just maybe, there is someone out there who might save her from herself.

28 Varner, 1413 For the record, I am against this. I don’t care how much it is supposed to help. But apparently I have to take the risk of humiliation to get ahead. So here goes. Hi, I’m Claire, and you already knew that. Gods this is stupid… Am I supposed to write these like a letter? Who the fuck am I talking to? It’s not like Mira is ever going to read this. Okay, let’s try this again. How does one start a journal? Dear Journal? Well, if nothing else, I’ve laughed today. T
