“Moss works best with cichlids in ponds.” Erith looked down at the mage tucked in his arm, Blake busy scrolling through his phone. They were curled up on the couch, watching a show about sharks. Well, he was watching a show about sharks. Blake was busy plotting out their new project. “Moss, huh? They won’t eat it?” he asked. “They’ll probably try,” Blake shrugged. “I’m not a plant expert, I’m just repeating what I’m reading.” “I mean, I’m a huge fan of moss,” Erith said. “Hon

“I have a letter from Lady Aldori regarding Oleg’s Trading Post.” Lapis shifted in the wooden seat, his cheeks still tender from Faes’ training the night before. The amurrun had healed the pain away easily enough, but the memory of the heated slaps still made him twitch, and made paying attention even more difficult. He had earned the punishment. In his first day back, Lapis had set Kanerah up as the barony’s treasurer, causing no small amount of anger from Faes. He wasn’t the hollowbo

Paci, blanket, diapers, Blake was bringing the works with him. Erith didn’t mind; the elf knew the man found comfort where he could. He would have joked about trying to bring Val too, but he didn’t want to hurt Blake’s feelings. “Do you think we should have brought Val?” Erith snorted, shaking his head as he helped Blake carry a bag inside his house. “Are you planning on moving in so soon?” he asked wryly. “I… um… is that… is that a possibility?” Blake questioned quietly.

“Two gold!” “Three gold!” “You’re on!” The yells and cheers filled his ears as he looked at the mug of ale, his tenth in two hours. All around him, Caydenites were busy drinking and gambling, Cayden’s Hall seeming more like a den of vice than any church. This was their worship, their way of venerating the god of drink and freedom, and this was what Jeremy had devoted his life to. More than a way to take away his pain, this was his way of life, and he was rededicating that life to

It's literally the word "whore" spelled out across his back. I made mention of it in the early chapters of Brothers.

At one point, Dr. Marin did suggest getting a tattoo to cover the scarring, but Blake is scared of needles, and he would have never been able to handle getting a tattoo. By this point, it's a fading scar, but it is still visible.

Erith groaned loudly as he straightened up beside the wolf bed. Another night spent in the dark, dealing with demons he didn’t even remember he had. Even now the memories were slipping from his mind, leaving him with nothing but an uneasy feeling. A feeling that turned to frustration as he looked at the room around him. “Oh come on Gara…” Mud was streaked all over the floor, dried and stuck. It would take all morning to clean the house. Grumbling as he picked himself up off the fl

The journey back to Ellesmera was made in somewhat uncomfortable silence. Lapis wasn’t sure why. The memory of the full moon was just that, a memory. Faes’ touch, as cruel as it had been, hadn’t been any worse than the touch of the captain in An, where he had first learned to use a bow. In fact, much of the pain had been soothed by the potion of fire resistance, and Lapis had thanked Tristian for it as soon as he saw the cleric again, though Tristian seemed eager not to know the specifics of why

“Test twenty two. I have a list of erotic sounds. I will play them and see if I feel anything. There has been nothing so far.” Gara’s ears flicked as he stood up. The laptop was running, an elf sitting on a bed on the screen. The wolf hadn’t seen Erith in a long time, and it confused him. Something was going on. A soft moan came from the computer, and Gara folded his ears. He wasn’t supposed to hear those noises, those were bad noises. ‘He called for us.’ ‘He doesn’t know what he’

He wasn’t alone. Of course he wasn’t alone. Gara had been keeping Erith company since his first change. But Erith knew now. He knew why he always worried about not having a sex drive, why he never felt the urge to have sex with anyone. There was another alter in his mind, one he had never noticed. And they were hiding from him. Protecting him from himself. As the elf drove home, he pondered this new development. He had nearly lost control of himself around Blake. And that scared h

A much more suitable job for someone of his stature.

Erith pulled into his drive silently, listening to the music blasting from Blake’s headphones. Dark music slowly phased out, replaced with more upbeat music. Erith would almost guess they were kid songs, though he didn’t recognise any of them. The car idled for a moment before he shut it off. The mage glanced at him. Letting out a quiet sigh, Blake removed his headphones and turned back to the elf. “How are you feeling?” Erith asked. “Well… I no longer feel like throwing myse

The elf stared across the chasm, listening to the hollering from the crowd as they jeered. He didn’t know why he was still here. But somehow, the journey to Mendev felt less manageable on his own. Amnor Sen had been happy in Holomog, tending to his shop. He knew he had only himself to blame for being stuck thousands of miles away from home, and he had a choice to make. Did he return home to pick up where he had left off, broken and alone? Or did he continue north to Mendev and try to work o

He could smell the tiger before he got anywhere near the breakroom. Sex filled the air, Reinard torn between a sudden desire to flee and a horrifyingly strong desire to join in. “Oh. Morning Reinard,” Iason nearly purred, prowling into the breakroom. “You’re looking rather delicious today.” “Um… okay?” Reinard stammered, looking up the tiger that was looming toward him. The Faro had the distinct feeling he was in danger, but everyone kept telling him Egaro wouldn’t do anything wit

Talking about his uncle always soured Erith’s mood. It wasn’t enough to get fucked by the man every day until he was fifteen. No, he had to haunt Erith’s every waking thought, long after he had been sent to be “rehabilitated”. How anyone thought the elf could be rehabilitated was beyond Erith’s understanding. Even here, when he was trying to enjoy a simple outing with a friend, the ghost of Erith’s past stuck with him. It wasn’t Blake’s fault Erith misunderstood him. The elf refused to let

An alarm woke Gara early the next morning. The wolf let out a growl at Erith’s phone. He knew that sound; it meant he needed to wake up and let the elf take over again. But he would be free again. Gara could feel the call of the moon in his blood, a pounding throughout his body that made him want to howl in excitement. He knew better though. The two legs living around his home were fine with him being a wolf, but if Gara started howling in the morning, they’d get upset and that would make E

This was proving to be much more uncomfortable than Erith had first thought it would be. The elf let a spoonful of honey fall into the pot of warm milk on the stove, a bottle of ginger sitting on the counter. A spoonful of turmeric mixed with the concoction, turning the milk an almost sunny gold colour. He added a sprinkling of ginger before stirring the pot. A dash of vanilla extract added to the mixture, evening out the bitterness of the turmeric. There was enough for at least three

That, or it's just not something he thinks about. He's not exactly asexual either, though Erith is. Blake is still finding himself, and it's a rather chaotic process for him.

Erith breathed a sigh of relief as he drove out of the pack complex. Another hazard avoided for now. But he still had to deal with the problem sitting in the seat beside him. No, that wasn’t right. Blake wasn’t the problem. Erith was the problem. Or maybe it was Gara. Being a werewolf was the problem. “Talk it out. Let him know what’s going on.” It was easy for Marin to say; he wasn’t the one who had been used by his family, who was terrified he might hurt his friend by even sugge

“You stayed down here all night.” It was not an accusation, it was a fact. Jakun could see the effects of the alcohol on the cleric, Jeremy nearly slumped over the table, hand shakily reaching for his mug for another drink, a way to kill the pain flowing through him. The catfolk didn’t have that luxury. His spellbook thumped on the table, Jeremy nearly spilling his ale at the noise. The cleric looked up blearily as Jakun opened the book, pointing to the spell he had spent nearly all hi

Erith stared at his tea silently. The room was filled with nerves, both his own and Blake’s. There was something going on, something he couldn’t explain except to say… he wanted to mate the man. It terrified him. Erith had spent the last seven years coming to terms with the fact that he would never have sex again, could never have sex again. Even with Devyn, the attraction had come more from Gara, a passing lust that had dealt with, if not easily. But this felt different. It was deep, hidde

Blake has a system, a schedule he follows. Any deviation can cause issues in his world. And an old friend reemerging in his life threatens to upset his delicate balance. Erith hasn't been alone since he was fifteen. The werewolf has another mind within his own, a mind that takes over every time he transforms. But when he starts to fall for an old friend, Erith learns that his system is much larger than he first realized.

Galen opened the door to the room, stepping inside swiftly. He cleared his throat, nerves building slowly as he looked over the other two Egaro. They were both perfect, and he couldn’t believe he got to be naked with them both. This had to be the best day of his life to this point, and Galen was scared something was going to happen. There was no way he could be this lucky. “Galen, relax. Hagan, could you give me a moment with Galen? He’s new to this, and I want to make sure he understands h

First of all, who could ever think they're faster than a deer? Kara needed that run I think. The whole scene between Arric and Kieran was sweet. Who would have thought the alpha enjoyed a good wine? And finally realizing you're a murderer, only a couple days too late. Shame it wasn't soon enough to save lives. In all, a great chapter. I am really enjoying this story ❤️

Jeremy opened the door slowly, his eyes adjusting to the dim light in the inn room. Amnor Sen was sitting cross legged on the bed, and Jeremy knew he wasn’t supposed to be there, shouldn’t be interrupting. But he needed to talk to the elf. “I have nothing more to say to you Jeremy Fairchild.” Fuck, he wasn’t just angry, he was fullname angry. Jeremy took a breath, closing the door behind him as he entered the room. He crossed the space, standing next to his husband, so close he could a
